So happy i read this. I was first introduced to Blue Drop with the anime. As I don't do spoilers, it was a wonderful story full of hope and happiness... until the freakin end destroyed my heart!!!! Then I read up on things and found out how even the manga is depressing. I got a tip on this one a year later and feel a little better.

I feel you. I shied away from everything by Yoshitomi Akihito for quite a while after Blue Drop. Glad I conquered that fear.

Thanks to Yoshimura-senpai that everythings went down well hehe... I like the story... nice!

I’m always looking forward to stories about the Arume and their adventures with the children of our planet. The Arume came to our world to avoid genetic failures! They may have needed human genes to prevent deadly mutations and continue as Arume. I think that’s why they came to our world!
