I loved the role playing scene when they both scolded Karin.
Karin directly said I like you to Yuuna and Tougo just expressed her emotions in ridiculous ways. My yuri goggles are confused.

ehhh not really. Togo and Yuuna are very heavily implied, especially from what I hear in the VN. I still need to read the Light Novel 'Washio Sumi is a Hero.' I hear that Sonoko hardcore ships them in the VN

From what I know it's canon that Tougo loves Yuuna, it even says in the BD version.

As you said, subtext, KyoAni lives on subtext. It knows that gay sells so it creates bunch of subtext, earns money and then throws it out of the window without ever crossing the finish line.

^ Yeah I certainly consider Madoka more yuri as well. And I suppose it's all semantics. I don't think anyone in their right mind would call any of the Holy Sextet or of The Hero's Club straight, but I suppose the specific relationships are embedded in subtext.
Darker than Madoka though? I'm not sure about that one Time. Certainly dark but Madoka is, literally, in a whole 'nother universe. Different of course, but a bit darker

dianjc Far as I'm concerned I was heavy rooting for that too, and I'm not convinced that FuuRin is canon. The cuddling is more just them resting against each other during the sunset after things finally started looking better for them.
I am in no way shape or form opposed though. I like the concept behind it a lot. I just think calling it canon on such shallow evidence is incorrect.
