It's funny how a lot of her characters resemble other characters from her other works, and looks like she has a thing for love hotels...
But i like her art a lot and her stuffs are generally a fun read

Edit: With that being said, my opinions on her has changed a lot...

I'm a tiny bit jealous that Erica got to talk to Takemiya-san... but then I would probably be gushing too much to be unintelligible even with my pitiful amount of Japanese. hehe.

That's so awesome! Reminds me of the time Jose-Luis Munuera (a Spanish comic artist I really love) replied to a LiveJournal comment I made, it's so unexpected and wonderful that you're totally floored by it.

That's pretty cool. I exchanged a few emails with the author of the science fiction book series, The Lost Fleet. I think it's awesome when authors interact with their fans on a personal level.

What is she even doing in an exhibition about Erotic art ? She's not really the mangaka who make the think about erotism the most

It's the Modern Love: Erotic Art of the 20th Century part of the exhibition. They have a section on yuri manga in it. http://shunga.honolulumuseum.org/2014/index.php?page=62

Here's the section on Takemiya Jin. Other artists featured in the yuri part of the exhibition are Nananan Kiriko and Sakurazawa Erica.

I bloody love Takemiya Jin's work! However, with how negative many of her stuff's been lately you've gotta wonder if maybe she's been thru some sort of messy breakup or something?

The art has improved so much on her works. And the amount of publications really puts her in the top tier of yuri genre. Is this the next generation of mangaka, after morigana milk's reign? That's how I see it.

Yeah, supposed to be released internationally in March next year. Also it seems there will be an anime as well.
