^^ really? For mako it seems completely one sided from Gamagori’s side. She shows more attraction to ryuko, I don’t think she really showed anything for Gamagori. Not once, at least nothing special. She treats him basically the same way she treats everyone else (except how she treats Ryuko) I mean for heavens sake Ryuko and Mako kissed, mako asked ryuko out on a date, mako (JUST mako) was literally ryuko’s anchor when senkestu lost it in her. Not saying anyone (here at least) is homophobic(especially because of the satsuki x ryuko shippers), but I genuinely think that more people would ship Ryuko x mako if one of them were a dude.

I could go on and on about how if we wanna talk canon, Ryuko x mako would be the most likely to come out and into a relationship. But that’s just me wanting to put reasoning behind why I ship this. At the end of the day people can obviously ship whoever they want.

I honestly have crazy beef with Gamagori x mako shippers it made me hate the ship more than I used to (just cause of the shippers on Reddit though)

Okay literally bro I love them so much. They have so much chemistry in the anime that I was flabbergasted at the lack of support for them. Like WHAAAAAAT?!? I mean mako literally kidnapped ryuko while basically dying because she had to wear senkestu , out of a hetero marriage that Ryuko OBVIOUSLY didn’t want to be in. If the show was tagged yuri people would be going CRAZY over that. Not to mention how MAKO was what brought RYUKO BACK FROM INSANITY LIKE WHAAAAT?!??

^^^ again, we don’t entirely know if that was the date that Mako had promised/asked ryuko on, it was up to viewer interpretation. (And not that anyone asked but how I saw it was just a way for the author to show how everyone was doing after the war. PLUS WE GOT A SCENE OF JUST MAKO AND RYUKOOO AHHHHHHHHHH THEY KISSED BTW like fyi and like btw fyi they kissed just to let you know fyi)

Honestly, this is adorable!! I could see both of them in suits or both of them in dresses, I’d doubt that ryuko would like to be in a dress while mako is in a suit because of what happened to her…yk the dream thingy where she was getting married
