^^^also dude literally in the same link you sent, if you look at the second definition thing, it LITERALLY SAYS that dude can be directed to people who aren’t men. in SOME cases (and let’s be honest, if you’re still In school this is more of a MOST case) dude is a gender neutral way to address someone. Same with bros tbh I’m a woman and I call my other female friends bro. They call me bro. Not like 24/7 but like every now and then. Not to misgender me or say I’m a man but because IN CONTEXT AND BECAUSE OF ENVIRONMENT THE TERMS OF WORDS CAN CHANGE.
