Well not exactly. It's pretty clear that Mugi has a MASSIVE crush on her sensei Sawako. There's multiple scenes of her being all heart eyes emoji at Sawako-sensei. Not to mention Sawako's love for Mugi's snacks and tea, like it immediately stops Sawako's hardcore angry lecture. Then Mugi texts Mio "for some reason, my heart is pounding now that sensei is our advisor"- Mugi doki doki for dat cougar love. Mio knows it and calls her out. But one scene in particular I feel sparks this pairing is in episode 5 season 1 when Mio and Ritsu along with Mugi are watching Sawako play her guitar and Mio tells Ritsu "I think Mugi has A THING for our teacher" and Ritsu asks Mugi directly if she has a crush on Sawako-sensei and basically Mugi's response is super vague "I was just thinking about how nice it is when its just girls" (Mugi pls you are so gay4yuri -.- embrace it Mio and Ritsu) but like paraphrasing, she says: it's okay if it's two girls as long as its happy.
Plus she's always creeping with her magazine binoculars. Lmao.
(I just started watching this anime recently lol) But I personally think Yui and Sawako are cute too. But seriously, they've all mentioned "how pretty sensei is". Low key, they all have a crush on their teacher. ~until she gets weird on Christmas~

But fr the one thing I take out of this show is how in the hell does K-On translate to Light Music Club. 3 letters, 3 words. One of the seven wonders of the world.
