Just loaded up the "Recently Added" page - the average number of tags per upload, at this very moment and excusing anything that might be on my very short blacklist, is 7.8

I genuinely don't understand what you are even trying to say with this. Perhaps this conversation has run its course. I leave the rest to the mods.

What I'm saying is that there's nothing on here with "hundreds" or even "dozens" of tags. The hypothetical that there could be, while worth keeping in mind, remains a hypothetical rather than a currently existing problem, so the argument that reverse isekai should be removed because there are already too many tags is, at best, something to table for future discussion if tag saturation becomes an issue in the future.

The previous argument, that reverse isekai has some kind of issue as far as "historical and etymological sense" would be applying a completely different set of standards to tags than the kind that everyone here is accustomed to, and if we applied it to every set of tags on the site I'm genuinely confused as to what would happen.

Dynasty is a website, not a storefront. Cluttering a cover or shelf with lots of tags is a much smaller issue. "Hundreds" of tags might be obnoxious, but you're committing a slippery slope/reductio ad absurdum fallacy: adding some more tags does not remove the mods' ability to exercise restraint when truly needed.

The fact is that several people find Reverse isekai a useful tag, indicating something about the type of story, and you have no presented any rational argument against, just your personal aesthetic feeling that it's too much.
