Ugh this jumped into sex abruptly. And I was hoping there'd be more follow-through with the first few pages highlighting Claudine's loneliness. But it was this author's first published manga so they've got room to grow. Art wasn't bad.

Yeah, that's not an allusion, that's straight up plagiarism. The art is so similar at times in the making love scenes, camera angles are all the same, paneling is very similar, the style of the fingers and, ahem, bushes are copied. Even the covers are similar, on top of the scenes you mentioned. What an exciting time, we haven't used this tag for a manga in eons.

Looking at it side by side the sex scenes are really similar but it's also incredibly generic
