This is great, I love Zounose's works and haven't seen that much until recently of Mai & Satono.

Who is Mai & Satono?

I feel dissatisfied with this one. That end monologue bloats it too much and the gag at the last two pages deflates a lot of the prior drama. Still, the dancers were cute and fun, and I liked a lot of the early world building.

The omake was beautiful.

And as always, Yakumi can't resist throwing in gore of some sort. That corpse was overly detailed, which amuses me.

I liked this dive into Mai, Satono, and Okina's relationships and background. I'm so behind on the lore that I have no inkling of how accurate all of the dancer of the boundary stuff is, but it certainly feels fitting with all the doors Okina uses as a motif and I have some vague recollection of Okina being a god of mystery, secrets, and travellers. It did irk me that Marisa's element was said to be water because that's wildly inaccurate, her element's heat and light ("love") but whatever, it was a small detail.

According to Patchouli, Marisa's element is water, due to her name (Marisa means drizzle) and some of her attacks having an affinity with water.

Is there no source with whiter page? I search around e-hentai, but the one they have, both raw and translated seem to have the same colour.

Kirisame is the one that means drizzle, not Marisa, but yeah, her affinity with water was stated several times in canon.

marisa as a mercenary is hilariously common. I can't hate it, her characters adaptability makes it a good fit.
