Hey everyone so I don't know if this is an inappropriate topic to discuss here but anyways.
I've been reading "I won't sleep with you for free" and I think it kinda sucks, but my thoughts are a little more complex about the issue. When reading the comments, there seem to be two "factions": 1. the people who think it's bad because the story is bad, and 2. the people who think it's porn and porn doesn't need a good story.
This made me think about yuri porn in general because I often consume it but never treat it the same as i would the porn I actually masturbate to. In fact, I never masturbate to yuri. Maybe it's because I associate some negative feelings with masturbation and would rather keep my enjoyment of yuri ""pure"" for lack of a better term.
But I genuinely read yuri porn for the plot. So when the plot sucks, I think the whole thing sucks. You can still pull off super simple and basic stories really well, but I just straight up dislike the story of "I won't sleep with you for free". Probably because I dislike Nakano, so sex scenes with her are a negative experience.
The thing is, I probably wouldn't mind those things if I actually just used that manga for masturbation, because the utility aspect would come first so I would probably just look at the drawings.
This brings me to my question: Do the people who enjoy that one look past how shit it actually is because they masturbate to it or is it normal to expect a bad story from any NSFW manga and people like me are the outlier?
One comment said: "I don't know how people could read something that hot and get hung up on the narrative." referring to that one "just shut up and enjoy it" page. I mean I could think of a million ways where you might have a problem with something even if it sexually arouses you, but whatever.
What I find interesting about that page in particular is that I totally get how it's hot, but I just don't feel the same happiness I would normally feel when seeing a spicy moment like that. My guess is that the characters involved kinda need to earn my sympathy beforehand. If I imagine the same page but with Momo and Shamiko from Demon Girl Next Door for example, I think I would really like it.
Sorry for the unhinged rant, but I really wanted to get this off my chest. I posted this here instead of on the thread of the actual manga because I think it goes quite off topic, sorry if this was a mistake.

Hello
Today, I found out that this exists and I really don't know what to think of it. I'm not gonna read it because I know full well that it's not for me and it would only negatively affect me.
On one hand, I admire the amount of research and effort the author put into this work (evident by that google doc).
On the other hand, I really don't think concentration camps should be used as the backdrop for a yuri doujin (or pornography in general). Honestly, I'm kind of surprised to see everyone not really having a problem with that. I only saw a few comments like that on the pixiv posts and those were ridiculed. Maybe it's because I'm from Germany and anything relating to the Holocaust is absolutely not to be taken lightly here. I mean it's not like the nazis are portrayed positively in this (at least that's what I surmise from the comments), but that doesn't make it ok in my book.
I don't think it's a topic you cannot make a story about, but I think it should be treated with more respect, instead of using it as a vehicle for a comic for people to get off to. As the artist said in the google doc:

I was going to make G36 comic with more plot and texts like the NegevXKar comic, but as I was drawing it I started to feel that it’s pointless to do so. I’m making these comics so that I could draw lesbian sex stuff but I found that there wasn’t much sex scenes even though the comic itself was pretty long.

Kinda gross in context imo.
Also, this paragraph from the document:

SS is bad but I can’t say all of them are bad. For instance, in the film Fury, the SS soldier who lets Norman go, is he also a bad person? If all SS are bad then is all of the Allied forces good? Allied forces committed rape in Paris and in Fury, War Daddy executes soldiers without a trial which is a war crime. Are these good things to do?

Straight up stupid.

Anyways, I would really like to hear what everyone else thinks about what I said. Am I overreacting or is my concern justified?

To me, the only joke that worked was that "DYNAMIC" one. The rest was just painfully unfunny and boring. I haven't read any real isekai in years, but the tropes and making fun of the tropes is still as tired as ever.

But the long title is the funniest thing I have seen in my life XD my eyes popped out of my head when I saw that there were so many words I started coughing up blood and threw up on the carpet haha I really think they should make more titles that long like really just instead of a title like "Adachi to Shimamura" just paste the entire first volume in there as the title so you don't even have to click on it to read the whole thing which would make it so wholesome or alternativeley just have the title be a sketchy ass bitly link to goatse, transforming your failed attempt at comedy into a new milestone for the entertainment industry, the resulting publicity being an overall detrement to your mental well-being only compensated by increasing levels of Slice of Life-consumption, which is known to be deadly in higher dosages.

9/10 it has a little something for everyone

At first I thought the male friend was just rather tomboy-ish and I was kinda happy that "her" being into that girl was not at all called into question or regarded as odd.

I really don't know what to think about this one. I remember absolutely hating this when I first read it, but seeing this on the front page, I decided to give it another shot because I really want to enjoy this. The art is nice and I like delinquents after all.
What I take issue with is their dynamic. The black haired one never wants to show her affection and the other one always teases her for it. The resulting dialogue comes off as downright hateful to me. It feels like everytime they open their mouths it's to throw abuse at the other party. Thankfully there's less of that once they start going out.
Another thing I strongly dislike is the "competetive sex" thing where their words make it seem like a fight for control rather than simply making the other party feel good and allowing yourself to feel good in return. I mean that's probably what they are going for, but it's hidden behind too many layers of tsundere-ness (??) for my microscopic brain to register as healthy.
Finally, chapter 1.5 page 3, where bright hair girl makes sexual advances towards dark hair girl while she clearly responds negatively*, disgusts me. Sure, it's implied that she likes it, but "she says no, but she actually means yes" is something that instantly kills any kind of sex scene for me. As an outside observer, I can't stand seeing stuff like that.

Overall, I've noticed that certain types of tsunderes can really limit my enjoyment of the stories they are a part of and sadly, this is one of those. Sucks even more when actually nice scenes like the one with the keys are soured due to me not liking much of what surrounds them.

Really conflicted over this one: On one hand, it's kinda cute. On the other hand, I kinda hate characters like that senpai and the "diligent worrywart vs irresponsible slacker"-dynamic is among (us) my least favorites. I just think it gets tiring really quickly.
The first 3 or 4 pages of this were extremely convincing arguments for me to stop reading, but as it went on it got better. So I really am hopeful for my enjoyment of this as it goes on.

I'm enjoying this series less and less with every new chapter released. I wish we could see more of the fun and quirky interactions between satsuki and her friends again. Now it feels like there's only problem after problem with no room to breathe. The worst part is having to wait so long between chapters. Usually I could just breeze through the stressful bits to get to the resolution, but having to wait weeks for a new chapter, which I know full well will bring me little to no joy or even take it away from me is... I don't really know the word lol but it sucks.
Maybe I should just wait for the chapters to accumulate.
So that's what I'm gonna do from now on, even though I want to know quite badly how those two will be dealt with.
Personally, I'm hoping for Satsuki to come up with some loophole in her moral code to allow herself to do a medium amount of physical trolling, resulting in two permanent comas. I mean satsuki didn't have any problem punching him, so it should be fine.

When I read something I don't like, I tend to look at the comments to see if anyone else feels the way I do. Usually finding nothing but praise in the comments, I feel a bit alone and stupid. When I do find a negative comment, it often makes me feel better, unless that comment is just straight up hateful. In that case I think "would I sound like this to others if I left a comment of my own?". This is the reason why I try to rarely comment anything negative. Negativity also tends to spread, devolving the comment section into a worse place than it had been before.
Still, I do get a bit of an urge to comment something negative in a discussion only containing positivity. Maybe the three other people who were unable to enjoy what they read would feel less alone. Most likely, I would just come off as a bit of a
contrarian dick though.

Can anyone relate to this? Hopefully haha
