The way I saw it most used in mangas was more when someone enjoyed cross-dressing and trolling other people. They were deceiving them on purpose, to just tease them without expecting anything (or did they?). I can see how it can be used as a insult, but I saw it used more as a playful term.

Lezhin are very protective of their copyrights, and thus we don’t host copies of their series or allow linking to unauthorized third-party sites that do so.

I think they meant having at least something like this, so people know it exists and they can try looking for it, if it catches their interest.

Well in Prunus Girl Aikawa preferred to keep his gender mysterious. Also loved to troll Maki. I'd say this one definitely takes different approach. Ignoring all the trap, transgender and other issues, it feels seriously outdated with focus being how guys supposedly can't be cute or wear cute cloths. Apparently the main conflict is that Shin isn't manly enough.

I totally agree. It is pretty homophobic though. Also not in this case, but they do sometime use it even if character is specifically trans though. And well, I just never found it funny regardless.

I never found funny the "you look and act like a perfect girl I'd totally date, but you're a guy so you're out of question" joke, doubly so when person in question is a actual trans woman, but it was played for laughs so many times, at this point it is just such boring cliche, I wish it died already.

Agreed. It managed to contain both bizarre plot contrivances, and also some very moving character drama. There's really nothing else like it.

Brother thing really didn't bother me, even thought it was pretty fucked up, because anime manage to create believable circumstances for it to happen (it was actually even a ethical dilemma and meant to be controversial) and I can handle my yuri characters not being "pure". And ending was a great emotional payback for it, so it more than enough made up for it.

Well, I was only defending "don't like it, don't read it" and "nobody forces you to read it" comments, which imo are still valid, even if there is stuff to discuss. If someone finds something offensive/controversial and wants to discuss it, then I have no problem with that. All it does, is telling you that given story or image has character with no white skin. Whatever it fetishize them or not, dependes on content, not tag.

Except it never is about them. Some people just find dark skin attractive, as everyone has different preferences and are attracted to different things. To some someone with darker skin simply seem more sexy, which is why they would want to look for art/stories with them. It is the same thing like small/big breasts tags etc. It's just to help you find stuff you're interested in.
