Aya never mentioned her first name to Mitsuki in that call. She'll at least realize this later on and probably ask the latter how she knew. Mitsuki can easily clear up the misunderstanding right then and there but that would be it or she could make a white lie that would only spark suspicion on Aya. Not sure if the author is planning on a very long story here, but they were quick enough to make Aya think about work Mitsuki after she slipped the earbud to her ear. This makes me think they don't intend to prolong this misunderstanding. Also someone mentioned that there's 0% chance that Aya would fall for school Mitsuki but they're forgetting that school Mitsuki can easily engage Aya about music too and they have more time together at school.

If anything, I theorize the way Aya is gonna find out about Mitsuki is through the tattoo on her wrist. The wristband will probably accidentally slide off or something and Aya will connect the dots herself.

Another misunderstanding might be Aya thinking Mitsuki is the sister of "the guy working at the music store" since she already had noted the similarity

I was thinking that some of these could be accidental, and some not. What if someone was targeting Tokiko herself? It would definitely prove the elevator and falling sign deaths. Though, that would still leave 4 (plus previous deaths) in the accidental deaths though, which seems statistically high.

Maybe she can see future deaths like Satsuki? Or can tell when someone is going to die, just not how/with premonition bodies?
Maybe it's the same concept as in someone is targeting the family/people around her because they know of her abilities like with Satsuki?

Also the conclusion of chapter 8 makes me wary. The older detective would probably somehow tie it all up to Tokiko with no evidence like he's always done (being annoying), even though it points to serial murders. Maybe whoever carried those out is targeting the Kurosu family now, still doesn't explain the coincidental deaths though.

I know in reality the chances are low but I won't lie that after 57 chapters i stg if these two don't spend the next one fuckin each other's brains out I'll feel a little let down lol

I reread only the last chapter (not at all remembering what happened in the other ones) and I still don't see a comment that defines the plot/ending well. Just to clarify, does the ending imply that Kareha will once again fall into a deep coma because of Chihaya shooting her at the end?

This manga is so good I paid extra to get the Japanese volumes shipped to the U.S. to support the author, I really do hope it gets popular. Mystery stuff is my jam and paired with yuri (although subtle) makes it even better. An anime of this would be amazing. Sadly it feels like the best manga series (like this manga and Hello, Melancholic!) never get as popular as yuri manga that give more fanservice.
