Just what I needed.

I'm not quite sure how to do this but there's a tag that I've been thinking about for a while. Mistaken Gender. A recent example is "Handsome Girl and Sheltered Girl" where a large portion of the plot revolves around mistaking one of the girl's gender. There are quite a few other stories that would very much fit this tag and there's no real equivalent among current tags.

Once again I'm sorry if this isn't how you're supposed to go about recommending tags, but if a mod could consider the suggestion that would be great.

Oh, I can help! I've been reading She-Ra fics for the past couple weeks (along with Owl House fics, but that fandom is too young to have many really good stories yet). I'm still making my way through the tag, but assuming you're looking for Adora/Catra fics (that's all I can help with anyway), here's what I recommend:

This story was so cute and endearing sad! That sounds awful! How one recovers from that...well. My "embarrassing" story is when I was like 7ish one of my slightly older friends in the neighborhood brought a bow and arrow to my house and we proceeded to use the family tent - unoccupied, don't worry - as target practice. Yeah, still can't get over how short-sighted I was in that moment. Imagine shooting arrows into a tent and not realising the damage is permanent? Heh...it me.

This conversation escalated quickly......there is some possibility that the reverb effect will be significantly stronger and garner them more support in the end. One can only hope.

Hey @Nosebleed don't forget to add the scanlator tag when uploading new chapters! It's the only extra entry you need to fill for series releases :)

You are not under any threat of prosecution for visiting a website hosting degenerate content. You are not under any threat of prosecution from even going so far as to accidentally click or view illegal, degenerate content. If you were, Twitter and Reddit would be legally precarious sites on their own. You are responsible for the specific content you regularly access of your own volition. On the topic, if you view NSFW content in general, you may wish to read up on specific guidelines for the depiction of fictional characters of certain ages. I doubt there is a concrete answer to this latter question, as legal precedent is finicky on its own.

Edit: If you are still at ill ease, keep an eye on your ISP-linked (or billing) email address. If you're doing something the government doesn't like, your ISP is very likely going to let you know about it long before law enforcement will.

Yeah, just type "completed" or "ongoing", hit backspace once after the final letter, and you should get the popup for the tag search. Not sure why those are a bit finicky...

The official policy of the site re:licensing is pretty straightforward. We will not upload works whose scanlation begins after the work has already been officially released. If an ongoing series is licensed, we will follow the lead of the scanlator who worked on it previously. If we are asked to remove a series by a publisher or a scanlator, we will comply. We evaluate all other works that get a license on a case-by-case basis.

In this case, we shouldn't have uploaded this series given that it directly contradicts sentence 2. Outside of edge cases like this, we aren't really in the business of removing chapters already uploaded, unless asked to do so by a relevant party.

As for the red notification, it's simply a relic of a previous era, when the policy was thought to be different. The site has a lot of stuff like this, hopefully we'll get it cleaned up sometime.

The Reader, or this incarnation of it, has been around since May 22nd, 2010. There's no "first work" uploaded, since the first day in existence saw countless titles uploaded at exactly the same moment. Some notable immediate series include Sasameki Koto, Iono the Fanatics, and Aqua Blue Cinema. The title with the earliest release date (but not upload date) is Haibane of Old Home. As for who's the ruler well, that's a secret, sorry!
