I don't mind it but there are some days where a swarm of Het shows up in the recently uploaded page, and that's when I just go somewhere else for a few days, waiting for the niche folks to get it out of their system, and wait for good stuff to show back up on the feed. I'm patient. ☺

This is so condescending, it's hilarious. Bravo.

You need to quit making posts like this. The only thing you're doing here is personally attacking another user.

Rule #1:

First, and above all, remember that everyone is here to have fun and enjoy yuri together. Being overly aggressive, insulting, or generally a jerk is against the rules.

You have a history of doing this sort of thing and you need to quit doing it before you get banned.

I wasn't insinuating that you're suffering from an actual disease

I quote:

What is making people say this about Tadokoro-san? Rabies? Religion? Tell me what disease has affected you people.

You compared not liking the comic to rabies, an actual disease, before making that statement. So you're right, you didn't insinuate that I'm diseased. You outright stated it.

It was pretty clearly hyperbole but both of you are getting a bit out of line so rein it in.

It seems that way, but doesn't mean she wont do something dumb. This reminds me of that dude Mari breifly dated in girlfriends because she was trying to replace her feelings for Akko. People can do dumb shit even when they know better.

But I do hope not- it would just drag it it out pointlessly - and I hope this is the push they both need.

I'm not sure this is directly comparable to Mari and what's his face. At that point in time in Girl Friends, Mari was actively trying to repress her feelings for Akko. That's not really the case here though. Kurokawa hasn't quite realized what her feelings for Fujishiro even are yet.

Either way though, I think she's fairly likely to shoot him down for the reasons others have stated. Spending their entire time together worrying about whether he misunderstood things and actually likes her in a romantic way isn't really the thought process of someone who would start dating said person when asked out.

Why dont you moderate the aggressive behaviour met with my honest criticism of the series instead of blaming me? Is this not a discussion forum?

My criticism was voiced in a reasonable way. The responses werent. It's also not my fault that it's considered "controversial" specifically in the sphere of manga and anime and it's certainly not my fault that people cant keep their cool about it.

As Throbelisk pointed out, you were the one causing problems. So quit it before you get banned.

Deleted the first three bots. Last one is probably a bot but hasn't done anything too egregious yet so I've added them to my list of possible bots to watch out for.

I believe an update to forum rule number 11 is in order to include heterophobia as well. I'm so tired of seeing assholes post how they hate "het shit" and it needs to stop.

That's not really heterophobia. This is a site that predominantly caters to yuri fans. So even if the site does have the occasional het or yaoi upload it's to be expected that plenty of people don't like it and aren't thrilled to see it. If anything you should be complaining that people aren't paying enough attention to tags on some chapters and then proceed to complain about reading het even though it was avoidable.

Shallow, whiney comments from people who got their hopes up despite the tags. Literal baby comments bashing a story for not being what it said it wouldn't be and can't appreciate something for what it is: a cute story with semi-drama and fluff . The hell is wrong with the community here?

Don't make posts like this. You can make your point perfectly fine without being insulting towards others for disagreeing with you.

Perhaps more warning is needed to cease reading NSFW works if not at the age of majority.

I'm going to wait for others to weigh in on this before taking action because I'm not entirely sure what should be done here since I don't recall the rules or anything when you register actually covering being a legal adult.

Edit: Actually it appears I was either mistaken or it changed at some point. It looks to be hosted in France.

It's sad to see it end... who knew I could be into yaoi? Cross-dressing yaoi- that is.

If you haven't read them already you should give Prunus Girl or Usotsuki Lily a shot. The first one is similar to this one but with a far less narcissistic character. There's also a lesbian side couple in that one. The second one is het but one of the main characters spends the vast majority of the series crossdressing. That one also has a lesbian side couple, though said couple is only featured in a couple of chapters.

Both these bots have been taken care of.

Sorry but if you look at the comments, they absolutely fucking do. You can read and enjoy yuri without having child porn shoved in your face the whole time.

Let's not go there. This topic never goes anywhere productive and just results in a shitstorm. You're allowed your opinion but you need to voice it in a reasonable way. This post only serves to stoke controversy on an already controversial subject.

No, it's fine like that. "I'll check the cat is fed." "I'll check the door is locked." It acts like the word "confirm"/"affirm" there, if you want to think about that way.

idk i have to second that it sounds super weird without the if

edit: or "that the" sounds better also. not trying to nitpick though, i'm usually enjoying reading too much to pay too close attention to small problems with grammar. only started thinking about it cause i saw the comment :)

I'm not sure whether it's proper grammar or not but it's definitely a common choice of words in actual usage.

Yeah, a metal shed in a thunderstorm seems like a safe place

It actually is, just like how you're safe inside your car in a thunderstorm, since electricity always flows through the path of least resistance.
https://mbmisteelbuildings.com/blog/are-metal-buildings-safe-from-lightning/

As long as you don't touch the metal and the ground, to complete a circuit, you're good.

Biggest issue with electricity is being the shortest and most efficient route to the ground. So even if you were to touch the metal, there's a good chance you'd still be fairly safe since the human body provides more resistance than metal does.

Well that was fucked up. I kinda have a difficult time feeling bad for Airi at this point though. She and Hina are pretty much equally awful people and she's just kinda reaping what she sowed.

If it's a bot, it's a weird class of bots that comes back later on to edit in advertising links. It's strange because you'd think advertising like that wouldn't even be effective in the first place but it seems to be one of the most common kinds of bots that hits Dynasty. We tend to wait to see if a link gets edited in before banning these types though because occasionally they turn out to be a user who either doesn't speak English well or just has a habit of posting very strangely.

Took care of all of these bots. To answer your question here though, not really. Plenty of spambots act similar enough to actual users that antispam measures will miss them. And even worse are the ones where it's not actually a bot but a person doing the job of a bot. Those are more difficult to detect automatically.

So is there actually a way to blacklist Doujins in general? cause i don't really read yuri doujin that the source material i don't really follow. but since there's no tag for doujin i kinda clueless on how to filter them from other original manga

To my knowledge, there is no realistic way to do this. All the doujin tags are separate tags instead of a global entry that can be blacklisted. If you can blacklist an unlimited amount of tags (which I'm not sure the case. The edit profile page doesn't state a limit but I'm pretty sure one has been mentioned on the forums before) then you could add them all manually but that'd be quite tedious.

I think a lot of the time when people see others bashing a certain government (or political choice), they mentally include a non-existent part to the person's argument that goes, "but my government actually good," and then proceed as if the person had actually said that. People can criticize the absolutely massive human rights abuses that the Chinese Communist Party has been a part of without having to acknowledge every single time that yes, (insert country here) also has been guilty of them. This invariably leads to whataboutisms, and the conversation goes nowhere, like it did last night. However, I do think it's best never to assume the involvement of even the worst-acting governments unless sufficient evidence has been given to warrant it, and I never did see that in the case in question from the other thread.

Shit like that really pisses me off. I've had foreigners critical of the US government try to pull that crap on me as well as tons of conservatives who deflect away from the GOP and Trump doing shit things with bullshit like "but Obama did bad stuff too!!!" as if that somehow justifies others doing bad things. I'm extremely critical of the US government. A lot more so than any other government since it's kinda the one that affects me most what with being American. And as for using whataboutism to justify shit people doing shit things? That's completely unacceptable as well. Unlike most of those conservatives who seem to be unable to comprehend the fact people might hold their own side to some level of standards, I'm just as critical of Democrats and independents as I am Republicans. If a politician on my side is doing something wrong then I'll be right up there with the conservatives calling for them to be held responsible for their actions because I don't play favorites like that.

It was fine until Alice popped in after the discussion had already reached its natural conclusion, with people actually agreeing, and unnecessarily shut down the topic by endorsing one of the sides of the argument. If she was legitimately interested in ending the discussion, it doesn't make sense to include such an incendiary comment saying that the other side is right (after, I might add, that we managed to come to agreement otherwise). That is what I was disappointed with.

Alice Cheshire never said Kirin was right, only that the Chinese government is shitty. Are you denying this fact about a government that actively silences dissent, strong-arms democratic states like Hong Kong into submission, and has committed systematic genocide? A government that to this very day refuses to acknowledge the sovereignty of Taiwan?

Yeah, this. I was under the impression that the Chinese government being shitty was kind of a common viewpoint and didn't think my comment of them being shitty was particularly controversial. I always make it a point to disengage from the actual debate happening when I step in as a moderator regardless of my personal views on the subject.

Masterpost has been moved to the Forum Rules, Markdown, Userscripts thread. Post will be updated with more information from this thread in the near future. This thread or the Help thread are perfectly acceptable places to continue discussion of Userscripts. Thank you for your understanding!

While Alice has done most, labeling the userscripts post of the thread as theirs gives the impression they made all of them.

I'm not sure how Pekoe changed things since this post seeing as the post in question has been edited since then but I don't think there's much of a problem. It specifically lists the authors of each script after all.

Also @OrangePekoe: No, I don't mind at all. The author of the original post is really completely irrelevant, what matters is simply who wrote which script which is stated clearly in the post.

Since there seem to be a lot of people who are not US citizens that frequent this site, I think they should hear what an actual American and former military contractor has to say about the most recent updates. Beau of the Fifth Column is a voice of reason and progress coming out of (surprise!) Florida. This is his newest video and his takes on Trump's bullshit "plea for an orderly transition of power." This is the actual United States of America, not Trump's cultists.

LegalEagle is also a good channel. Since he's a lawyer and it's a US legal code-focused channel he tends to focus purely on the law which can be pretty insightful. The video I linked here is the only one I've seen since I subscribed to him where shows actual anger. Beau also tends to try to keep an objective standpoint but he gets angry frequently enough (and rightfully so) that his reactions to the seditionists was to be expected.

As someone who also has anger issues, you should definitely look into anger management methods. It'll help a lot. I lucked out (if you can call getting in trouble for getting bullied because of shitty no-tolerance policies lucky) and got transferred into a private school focused on anger management when I was in the fourth or fifth grade and it helped a shit load. Though not all methods work for all people either so you should try to find what works for you in particular.
