Why is ch 12 called the White Album? There wasn't a single mention of the The Beatles, or music of any kind.

Not really dense, but Shima's always had a strong wall of denial, in any version of this. If thinking about these things would shake up things too much, she'd rather just ignore the signs.

Same, I got blindsided by Shimamura replying that she loved Adachi right away. And later she doubled down, pretty nice.

I thought for sure when Shimamura said she didn't remember the first time she said it in her sleep that that was going to be a thing we'd have to spend like a whole volume or more trying to work our way back to and then she just went and said it again and my jaw hit the floor.

It certainly seems like she was almost asleep again and just said what was on her mind without really realizing it. But, well, since it still was what she actually thought, she was able to say it again as well, even if it was as hard as if it was the first time - which for her it certainly was, as far as it comes to conscious thought.

All that you said won't change that feels DO NOT overcome facts, NEVER. And it's better to destroy their self-confidence than to give them hope which is far more cruel.

Often, yes. She does get better over time, though. Adachi wasn't much better at the start, though, having pretty much withdrawn from any human contact.

That sounds so very Kasumi, I wouldn't even be surprised... :D

And at the same time, she would be very much aware of what this would mean as well.
