Please tell me that Kagami's mother is not sabotaging their relationship because she is jealous and is actually planning for Indou to be the replacement for her mother. That would be a bit much.

I mean, it's a possibility, but I suspect it's rather that she thinks it's better to separate them now than to have them go through the same that she did with Indou's mom. Not the brightest idea anyone has ever had, but understandable to an extent.

Dammit, mom...

I hope they at least give us, like, one panel in the last chapter showing that Indou and Kagami survived all the wars and retired safely in some cozy corner of the countryside, though.

Did Chibi get a gender swap? I always thought it was a guy, and I could've sworn they used male pronouns before this chapter. Was it a translation error or something the author did. Also, I am positively in love with this series and want more, is the translation all up to date, or can I buy more?

Wasn't it a part of the plot? They thinking it was a male then realizing that it was female?

Mai definitely has better chances to torn this into a proper romance on their friends days. The atmosphere with them playing there close together, especially when they ended up staring into each others faces, was far closer to being lovers than at any time during the "lovers days" with Mai constantly on the attack.
