Speak for yourself. On the east coast at least, it's Junior High from 7-9, and Senior High from 10-12. It varies a lot.

Sun Jing has a very "adult woman" look to her face here, like Satsuki said it's very Nishi Uko in a way.

This and the one in the bar give off a feel of the two of them in second or third year college, at least.

Canadians say 10th grade. I've never heard anyone outside saying stuff like "freshman", "sophomore", etc. outside of media from the US though. Even in university, I've only seen "frosh" used first-hand to refer to the first couple weeks of a new student. Maybe it's more common in fraternities/sororities since I was never a member, but among student bodies it's very rare.

It's kind of hilarious that we saw all that art of them together, with Sun Jing looking all cool and seductive and self-assured, then reading this story only to find that she's an incredible dork who really has no idea what she's doing.

@ari-chan

I was thinking of the end of the series after Madoka ascended to godhood, when it was basically those two and Homura fighting demons. They seem to be on good terms at that point, and don't have memories of the original world and thus didn't have the original disagreement.

Yikes! Is this through all generations or just the older ones?

I know that a lot of older generation Koreans deeeefinitely don't like homosexuality. Like the really old people might even go as far as to claim that homosexuality was a "western disease" brought over by foreigners, or just flat out deny that Korean people can be gay.

Wow.... words do not express....

It's hardly a Korean-only thing. Even here in North America there are a lot of people who think homosexuality comes from outside forces such as liberals, the "gay agenda", people from California, etc. Since they didn't see it when they were young (due to gays being closeted and it being dangerous to be out), it didn't happen and therefore must be a new thing from somewhere else.

It's horrible, but pretty common. Even more so in more insular areas that already have a distrust of outside influences.

^pay more attention to the butt staring.

A fine butt never pass unannounced, boy or girl it doesn't matter... You stare, and some of them are special and must be slapped because is human nature.

Yup yup. I'm queer as a bag of fish, but you show me something like this, fuck yes I'm gonna look.

Oh, there's a dramatic thought. Kyouko and Mami actually did have a relationship together following the original series, but when Homura rewrote the world she rewrote that as well and re-assigned Kyouko to Sayaka. I can imagine a doujin or fanfic taking advantage of that, and her prior feelings seeping through. Would be quite dramatic.

how do i add something to my favorites??

The pulldown menu on the top right, beside your name. The one with the horizontal lines. Just click that, and it gives you a choice of which lists to add it to. You can add a chapter to as many lists as you like, including custom ones.

umm.. so is it going to be updated here?

I'm sure these fine individuals would know, since they're the ones currently responsible for releasing it. We'll be posting them as soon as possible once they do.

I'll be honest, as intriguing as the second chapter is, I would have been happier to see the first remain as a self-contained one-shot.

For all of the trolling, and Shou seriously knows what his audience really wants to see so it's kind of comforting, the April Fool's chapter really captures the two of them as a couple in one of their goofier moments. Ran is so Ran and Keiko is so Keiko in this chapter, and they've got such a smooth rapport between them.

Thought it had a satisfying ending nonetheless ian. :)

Same here, it's obvious at the end Shrimp Mayo knows exactly how Hotei feels, and has come to love her in return. She almost explicitly says as much, and of course the extra makes it that much more clear. I'm pretty happy even if I'd been hoping for another kiss.

That line where Ebi-chan pretty much says that is probably one of the best lines I've ever read in anything, lol. And I pretty much agree. It's made clear enough, though something a little bit more concrete would have been nice. Though I'd think Hana walking in on Ebi and Hotei is fairly concrete. I mean Ebisu clearly is running her hand through Hotei's hand, they're very close to each other. Girls are of course more likely to be in such a situation with one another with it being innocent but that sort of situation just doesn't seem to fit with Ebi-chan's personality at the very least.

I think the two of them are probably more intimate in that scene than if she'd walked in on them having sex, to be honest. They're clearly focused entirely on each other, and there's this comfortable sense that they're welcome in each others' personal space. I only wish I could convey half that sense of closeness in my own work.

Breaking news, gay marriage is now legal a last in one ward of Tokyo

How this will change our yuri world? Hope been positive

That's actually very interesting. Yuri and yaoi manga can give the impression that it's totally accepted in Japan when this is very much not the case.

Well, you just need to look at how lesbians are portrayed outside of Yuri, and really not all that rarely in Yuri/"Yuri" too. Nobody would get the wrong impression, then.

Heck, even a manga like Collectors where they don't face direct prejudice has scenes like Shinobu not revealing that she's in a lesbian relationship to her students or Takako being a little sad that she can't marry her lover.

As a person of a religion who claims this sort...it's the incredibly idiotic and self-gratifying people who do that. Pope Francis himself came out with an official statement saying basically "Look, we ourselves may not yet agree with it, but we must not think any less of people who don't abide by our rules".

Didn't the "progressive" Pope Frank walk that back along with the sort-of-nice things he said about atheists? I'll buy it when Vatican City allows SSM.

I'm very committed to my faith but I'm also very rebellious. If you look in the Old Testament, the only main reason why same-sex marriage was barred was because of historical context, not because of the act itself.

As I recall, a bunch of the Leviticus bits weren't even about gays at all but modern folks took them as "sorta kinda if you squint" excuses for pre-existing "gay men are icky" prejudices. Not that the folks back then weren't bigoted as hell in their own special ways, but they didn't seem to really obsess over it.

Coincidentally, Stone Cold Steve Austin has come out in favour of Same-Sex Marriage.

"I don't give a shit if two guys, two gals, guy-gal, whatever it is, I believe that any human being in America, or any human being in the goddamn world, that wants to be married, and if it's same-sex, more power to 'em."
"What also chaps my ass, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say 'we as a church do not believe in that.' Which one of these motherfuckers talked to God, and God said that same-sex marriage was a no-can-do?"
"OK, so two cats can't get married if they want to get married, but then a guy can go murder 14 people, molest five kids, then go to fucking prison, and accept God and He's going to let him into heaven? After the fact that he did all that shit? See that's all horseshit to me, that don't jive with me."

I'm starting to wonder whether we'll ever get any tangible progress. Also starting to wonder whether it even matters: this is pretty good already.

Yeah I don't mind how it is right now either, juuuust as long as we actually get progress by the end of the series...I'd hate for the series to end the same way every chapter so far has ended (even if it is hilarious).

I think part of it for me is simply being able to see that a realized-she's-super-gay Shinozaki agonizing over an assumed-to-be-straight Kaede would be easily as hilarious as what we've seen so far, and be an early payoff for the story so far (them becoming an actual couple would probably be a series finale thing).

Like can you imagine Shinozaki knowing she's gay and trying desperately to hide it? That's comedy gold, given the character that's been built up so far.

Finally got around to reading all the Girls Und Panzer stuff, and I've gotta say this is the best of the three official series. Motto Love Love got a bit too nuts at times (although canon Orange Pekoe x Darjeeling was nice) and the original series was kind of disappointing. It simply didn't deliver on the tension or a lot of the interpersonal relationships.

On the other hand, Little Army was really satisfying in a lot of the ways the original series wasn't. You got a good feel for the characters both as kids and as a team, and their issues really seemed to mean something.

Oh sweet! I wonder how long it'll take until the world realizes horses will not start eating each other because a same-sex couple wants a kid.

You've got it slightly off. What people like to claim is that if we allow same-sex marriage then next we'll allow marrying animals. Because that's totally not a slippery slope fallacy or anything. Also I've read a surprisingly large number of news articles where a person was allowed to marry an animal or even an inanimate object so I see that claim as even more moronic personally.

Hey, if it's good enough for Caligula...
