Jokes aside: This chapter broke my expectations of the teacher being the culprit. This manga seems a bit creepy to me. Age Gap where the younger partner is the initiator isn’t natural. I like the author, so I’ll read on, but I won’t post anything else in this thread.

We got plenty of student-teacher manga in which is the younger partner that initiates. And any argument about "naturality" makes no sense to me. Personally, I'm a big fan

I think it's just that the minis are coming right as things have gotten juicy. Hundreds of chapters fly by with a lot of teasing of possible moments, a moment finally hits, and next -- oh, hey, look at this other stuff for a bit...

The minis are just fun little things that alternate weekly with the more substantial chapters. We're getting lots of them because the translators are catching up on their backlog. As the text implies, this one originally appeared months ago. You don't have to read them if you don't like them.

Yeah lol I was totally confused

For how I saw it, what Shizuka meant is that Kaoru always said she liked her long hair, which means that she already knows how Kaoru feels about her haircut. For Kaoru's sentimantality, I think she means she will need some time to say a more honest (with herself) comment.
It is very obscure in japanese as well, we are trying to fix it too.

For how I saw it, this mini shows that Kaoru has a twisted sense of shame, which is in line with her twisted morals. And in a few pages conveyed that this is a generalized way of her being.

Now after losing an insane amount of hours of sleep to read all the 261 chp in a week I have drawn my conclusion on this series :

This is a freaking masterpiece in every aspect and deserve all the praise and recognition.
