Is it possible that this website started off as shoujo, or generic one, and then it became more and more Yuri thanks to words of mouths. or words of email??? Once it gets going, nobody can stop it except the admin, and that is a lot of work for a few people who worked for free (volunteers). I am not sure if the admin would spend much time on determination, because it is possible that a yuri relationship is not revealed until, say. chapter 3 of a manga. Plus sometimes some manga is difficult to be classified, such as Futari Escape.from YHC. You would have thought every manga in the magazine is Yuri, and then out comes a comedy with zero romantic elements. (another one which I like is Nishi Uko's Collectors from Le Paradis).

Hmm. That's a really broad question, I'm not sure I'm able to answer it, and this isn't really the place either way. I guess I'll just say for the last ~8 years it's been the same few of us uploading to the site and determining its direction - with a great deal of help from certain very dedicated community members. We do spend a good deal of time and effort verifying translation work and doing our best to accurately tag whatever we choose to add. Never perfect, of course.

In any case, thanks for yall hard work. I found this place because I came from the yaoi and shoujo background, and when mangadex got P0wned, this site became my default.

I'm sorry, you were incorrect. We host on this site what we want to host. Most of what we want to host is yuri. There is no risk of "anyone" uploading whatever they please, because only a select few folks are actually able to distribute content here. Yesterday there were ~60 chapters of yuri added to the site, and one chapter of het added to the site. Don't really need to know more than that.

If you're on Android, I'd suggest just zooming in till the page fits your screen and then reading as normal, this should work well. There's currently a bug that ruins page switching after using the resize button. I'm very hopeful this will be fixed soon.

Yeah sorry, this is my fault, as we really tinkered a lot yesterday with finding a nice option for all screen sizes and I failed to update most of the chapters in this series. Everything is updated now and should be usable, at the very least. If you still encounter any troubles or issues with the sizing (personal preference complaints are encouraged too), please let me know in the Help thread.

In the future we'll have more variable options for dealing with series' like this, but for now choosing a single consistent size is the best we can do. Thanks.

There are definitely a few Kantai Collection images which would qualify, and a few more I've run across here and there as well.

Technically I think this already exists as Rivals? Perhaps it needs a bit of a rebranding such that it casts a wider net.

New uploads under Long strip will have a page titled "00_dynasty" inserted before the beginning of the work demonstrating the resize button, as this has consistently been shown to be unused by a sizeable portion of readers. In series', this page will only appear before the first chapter. I hope it's helpful!

Additionally, resized pages will now have a standardized width along with the rest of the chapter. I know there were some issues with pages within the same chapter being different widths, which caused all sorts of display issues, especially on uncommon aspect ratios. Those issues should be alleviated now.

Any troubles related to Long strip chapters (or anything, really) should please be reported here (or elsewhere relevant) with as much detail as possible. I anticipate a few larger changes to image functionality in the next few months, but for the time being we'll do our best with the tools we have. Thank you.
