Aughh... cute but, why did she go out with him in the first place? Uhhh this bothers me alot than i expected.

In order to make sure he didn't get his hooks into her sister, of course! She knew that he thought she was Miho, so she took advantage of the mistaken identity, accepted his invitation, and crushed his small boyish heart.

Now they need to extend it and do "The Parent Trap" version, where they have hot sex every time they get together to plan how to get their parents back together so they can share a room for the rest of high school.

Just imagine how short this story would be if the main characters were all normal people who talked about their problems and personal lives with their friends.

very very short and mundane.

As would almost ALL stories! That isn't really a valid criticism of ANY story that involves interpersonal drama as a main aspect of the plot. Of course, it's amazing how much better regular people's lives would be if they just acted like grown ups and talked about their problems with each other as well. I bet the divorce rate would be significantly lower! Art imitates life, people!

That's quite the character development (sort of) for Mei. I think it's quite amazing how much her facial expressions increased/varied since the first volume.

So like, on a side note, here are the things I think will happen next:

  • Udagawa-san, being a mutual acquaintance of Yuzu and Matsuri may have a slip of tongue. Matsuri being aware of Mei's pending engagement may assume what's going on.
  • Somehow I just feel like Matsuri will tell Yuzu. Anyway, one way or another the truth will most likely not come from Mei. Just so the story will give Yuzu the feeling of being betrayed.
  • Udagawa-san might see Mei's ring-necklace and recognize it as the one Yuzu bought, iirc he saw the pair of rings previously. Since he encouraged Yuzu before, he just might be a key cog that will help the two of them get over this engagement arc, ironically.

Anyway, in light of this all, I am incredibly curious how Yuzu will react. I actually want to see her mad/angry for real because she's always such a goofball. :)

I kind of thought he actually already knew who Yuzu was giving the ring to because of Matsuri... I guess I could be wrong? Maybe I should re-read that section...

Something that people are glossing over is the fact that is not that Mei is afraid of her grandfather, she actually loves him and is going through all of this for his sake. The man is dying and for better or worse he was the only real family Mei had for years. The conflict right now comes from Mei having to choose the love of her life or her family (keep in mind how she emphasized Yuzu and her were just step sisters). Or what is the same -and it has been the entire theme of the series- she has to pick her wishes or her duty.

While this arc could work as the end of the series, I don't think it necessarily has to be. It will complete Mei's character arc but there's still things to sort out for them to achieve the happy ending Saburota has promised for years, mainly, coming clean to society about their relationship. Being how prominent the situation with Yuzu's friends was, I don't think is something Saburota would simply hand-wave.

Now if there's one character in the series that deserves hate is Shou. The guy is an selfish ass that has no excuse for all the bullshit he has pulled.

Good point about Mei's actual motivation for following her grandfather's wishes. The real test will come when her grandfather kicks the bucket. Will she CONTINUE to follow his wishes at that point or will she make the decision to live her life on her own terms and NOT agree to marry the person he arranged for her to marry? (Which I expect will be accomplished shortly before his death or somehow part of his will that she must comply with the the arranged marriage agreement in order to inherit or something like that.)

Yae was always a bit insecure, so it isn't entirely out of the blue that she would be worried about Chitose getting swept away by a guy with the way the sempai was talking in her club. It's still a bit odd, given that they both have clearly expressed their preference before, but Yae knows that Chitose has been at the all-girl's school the whole time, unlike her.

It's great to see Chitose hasn't gotten any more subtle! "I see. You think I'll start wanting a boy's **** in me?" LOL! That's what she's worried about, yeah...

And then, thousands of years in the future, the all-female civilization that they started developed dimensional travel and took submarines to another dimension similar to their own that had both men and women. (Blue Drop)

Out of curiosity, what was the change in the first chapter? It's been so long since I read it that I had to re-read the chapter anyway and I don't know what the change was. :)

As it is, I'm enjoying the story. I'm looking forward to more!

I can not decide if it was the very pinnacle of consideration, or of stupidity.

I would call it selfishness.

On the part of the person who left, or the person who found out about her illness and didn't go to see her ex? Because I believe the OP was saying that about Asuka, the main character... I think it is respecting the wishes of her girlfriend. The girlfriend might have been selfish, but she wanted to die on her own terms and, after finding out about the illness, Asuka chose to honor her wishes.

It's still brutal as fuck.

Are we all just gonna gloss over the fact that she fucked a ghost?

I guess I just had a different interpretation but I thought she was actually alive then. Like Sarasa discovered illness 3 years ago > broke up > 3 years later maybe the she got even more ill > missed ex gf > went back to see her for the last time > things here > Sarasa was content > time skip to funeral > and that part in the window was ex gf reminiscing...

...along those lines? Maybe?

She says she came back the day of the funeral. Funerals don't happen immediately after you die. It takes time to plan and you have to give people time to find out about it so they can pay their respects. I am in the "It's a dream" camp. She came home from the funeral, fell asleep, and dreamt about Sarasa coming to visit her.

I think it is supposed to imply that it was her spirit coming to her for a quickie... Well, not so much a quickie as a one night stand, I guess.

Very good. Seemed to move a little too fast which is probably hard to manage with one shots and that one line of course I was rejected bugs me. Felt like it should have bee said a little differently but overall very nice.

I don't know... She knew the other girl was already taken so she expected to be rejected. I thought the line made sense...

I liked it. It was sweet and I felt you could see the interest growing between the two of them as it progressed.

That was dangerously close to a confession there Yuu... Be careful or you might give away your secret before she's ready to admit that she already knows that you love her too...

Yet another masterful chapter! Yuu CANNOT, under any circumstances, allow herself to utter the phrase, "Yes, I love her" about Touko aloud. Regardless of how true it is, she cannot allow that truth to be heard, so she cannot truthfully answer Sayaka's question. Now, of course, she is going to feel like she is at risk of loosing her once Touko realizes that Sayaka has feelings for her. I expect that she is already starting to wonder if Touko hasn't started falling out of love with her and falling for her best friend instead... I really can't wait for more!

Maybe the husbands sleep together in the other apartment? They've just already left for work by the time the kids are getting ready for school.

Looks like Yurine's kokoro has gone doki-doki. We knew she had fallen in love but she's got it really bad oh my.

That's what I was figuring that was indicating. She used to get butterflies and now she's getting all hot and bothered...

Oh hell no. She chose to leave her and get married. Takes those crocodile tears elsewhere.

Exactly... Wei Wei might still love her, deep in her heart. She might not be over her. But I seriously doubt that she's forgiven her for dumping her in favor of a hetero relationship that is acceptable and, most likely, loveless AF. Sorry, babe, you made your bed. Now lie in it... (That statement can be taken with two meanings of the word "Lie".)

Chapter 25: An excellent side-story chapter about Koyomi meeting her favorite author and discovering that SHE uses a masculine pen name. In the long run, I think it might provide even more motivation for her. After all, now she doesn't just have an author she admires, but a living, breathing role model who is "living the dream" as a woman writing best selling novels in a genre that, from the sounds of it, is dominated by men in Japan. (I would guess that is the reason for the pen name or was when she started.)

Not bad... Not bad at all! Pretty much a challenge to win her heart by the time she finishes with school... (Though I think she's got it already, she just has too much integrity to make a move...)

(So far) This has got to be the best doujin of 2017. Best portrayal of a student teacher relationship I've ever read! We need a sequel stat!

Exactly! The kiss was a bit out there, but other than that, nothing untoward going on, just honest feelings.

Really getting tired of Suzuki being in the story. I like a GOOD poly story, but not a story about someone trying to steal a girlfriend then inviting herself to sleepovers...

It appears, from the black surround, that the mixer where she slept with the guy was in the past. Do we know if she told Anna about it? That seems an important detail... She seriously should, even if it could blow up everything. Hiding the fact that she cheated, and that she's uncertain about whether she CAN fully commit to her, is just plain wrong at this point. (Especially since she seems to have come to the US to be with her. I really can't quite understand that logic...)

This last part has horrible! the flow was completely unbalanced and it didnt make any sense.

As opposed to the any of this author's other stuff, which is very well-paced and easy to follow. /s

Also, isn't this incest, then? Wouldn't that cause bad things for the child?

Seeing as how it's a literal science baby, it's probably ok. For science reasons.

Yeah, I don't think it's a problem given that it's already a science baby. I think it may just be a clone of some. She was planning on using a different surrogate originally, after all.
