I tried to "rent" manga from their site once, despite all the bs in their terms of service, but I was desperate. It didn't want to process, so no, I won't support them, because their service is shit.
Meh, I'm angry at myself. I put off doing daily for today and I run out of time. Once I was short, I did try using some strategy from internet, to just clear it, but I didn't leave myself enough time, so I didn't manage to do it before time was up. So I only cleared it with risk 4 and no challenge. Sad lost currency noises.
Btw. Sakura Cartelet I assume you don't want be friends, since you didn't accept my invitation?
Managed to do risk 8 and completed all lvl 1 and 2 risks. I'm annoyed that you need to actually unlock lvl 3 risks, especially since there are only 2 challenges involving them and only 2 out of 6. Also I kinda thought you can farm the shop, but I realized the number of currency you can get is limited(?), so I need to be more careful what I get. I kinda wasted 120 points because of that.

Congrats guys. Also wouldn't mind if you those you have Hoshi can put her in support. Haven't seen a support Hoshi all day.
Well, I can put here, but she's only E1 lvl 40 skill lvl 4.
Finally beat it. I'm glad I dropped so many snipers. I didn't really try putting all snipers near the exit, cos I thought there's no way they can kill slugs in time, but it worked after all. Used similar strategy to Eckogen, but modified it for my operators. I picked Hellagur's S2 cos I thought I'll be able to use it 2-3 times for each crab, but ended up using it only once so maybe S1 would be better. Also it'd be less of a close call if he had higher lvl/skill. Also this run didn't go exactly as my original, since I put Hoshi first before Gummy and somehow didn't deploy her top, so I still had her ready when Hellagur died, so when he dead here, I was sure I'll lose, but May dealt just enough damage. Also forgot to deploy May to kill first spider slug, but it didn't really matter.

I was referring to something else, but I know what you're talking about. I've found that right-clicking the images on Lofter works. It still redirects you, but the option box still pops up and lets you select "Open image in new tab". For example, for this page right clicking and opening the the image gets me this resolution picture. That said, it seems like this doesn't work for some peoples' computers for whatever reason.
Oh I see. And yea, it works for me just fine, so thanks for info.
EDIT/ Also checked and obviously KyoStinV and Eckogen did it with low star operators. Eckogen even cleared it with only E1, but he did bring E2 Eyja. And KyoStinV used E2 Exusiai.

A good way to deal with the slugs is to just kill them before they get to you, aka use a bunch of ranged units.
I did try to kill them from range, but there's not enough good spots and also this
My ranged operators also aren't strong enough to take them down fast.
This is the run I did on risk 10.
Right! I totally forgot this is perfect moment to use specialists like Mayer (not that I invested in her). I was wondering why they made deploy limit 8 instead of 6, cos you can't bring more operators anyway, but forgot drones count towards limit.
It's not; earlier there was something weird happening on the site that made the pages not load correctly but it seems to working fine now.
Actually once you click on image to see it bigger, it redirects you to log in after a sec. It happened to other chinese site when I was checking previous images in thread. At least it happens to me. If you also don't have account and can click on it just fine, then I guess something else is at fault.

Basically just clear it once normally at risk 0 or with the support tag and then clear it again with the new risks unlocked. Once the risks add up to risk 8, you've cleared most of the daily challenges. There's also challenges for picking certain combinations of risk tags which you can click on the challenges tab to see.
Oh, you're right. All I had to do was playing it once without any risks and rest works just like permanent map.
I have no idea if this made sense so if it's still confusing, we can continue explaining more lol.
It's fine x3 You explained it well, but sadly I already figured everything out xP
After pretty easily beating risk 3, I thought it won't be really that bad, but wow. Since I used mostly snipers (and 1 specialist) to beat it, triple cost on ranged operators was out of question. I tried with limit to 6 operators but mine are simply not strong enough to pull it off. I only managed to do it with 70% damage increase. Slugs are enough of pain to deal with normally, so buffing them made them insane. I was hoping the new risk will be more manageable so I can switch to it, but nope, 80% less health to my operators, nope. After experiencing it for myself I now finally see how I really need at least E2 to be able to challenge those more difficult risks. Also only now I realized those slugs lower your def permanently and how much of a bs it is.
An important thing to note is that while the permanent map is important to complete before the event is over, getting risk 18 isn't as important as doing risk 8 clears for the daily maps.
It took me a while to understood everything, but from what I got in order to unlock challenges for daily map, I need to unlock them reaching certain lvl with risk on normal map? It says unlock at rank 1 and 2. Now that you said it and I checked again, I'm supposed to unlock them beating the daily mission?

Popukar is another precious daughter that must be protected at all costs.
Yea, I really like her. Whenever she says "Don't leave Popukar alone" when you assign her to work, I want to hug her, because it feels like poor girl would die from loneliness if left alone ;/
Except for Catapult, Spot, Hibiscus, Ansel and Cardigan I have all my 3 stars on E1 and maxed skill. Steward, Melantha, Kroos, Lava and Orchid at lvl 55, Midnight, Popukar, Beagle on lvl 40 and Fang, Vanilla and Plume on lvl 10.
The new game mode in the CN server looks really cool. It's sorta like an RPG system where you have RNG paths that you go through with battles, shops, adventure events, and other features. It also makes you choose random operators, like you get 3 random tags at the beginning of random classes and choose from the ones you have. There's also "hope" points you spend to recruit higher rarities while 3 stars and below cost 0 so you can't just go through the maps with a team full of 6 stars. It forces you to play the game in different ways, and the best part is, you don't spend any sanity playing it.
That sounds amazing! It'll definitely be helpful in keeping game fresh and giving you stuff to do when you're done with farming/just want to have fun with game. Especially since it'll give you reason to use all those operators you normally don't use.
Ko ko dayo is waaaaaaaay better than Jessica btw. Siege is a great starter, have fun~
On the same lvl, sure, thanks to Kroos' crit passive, but once you E2 Jessice and master her S1, she's objectively better. And even before it, she's better in some specific situations. I tested it.
This game seems a lot harder than FGO where you can just pick overpowered support units like Merlin, Skadi, or Waver in NA and curb stomp your enemies. Learning each operators strengths and weaknesses is taking me some time as well although I am losing/retreating much less now since I seem to have "solved" some of the early stages.
Yea, it's way more about strategy than just mindlessly stacking damage and blowing everything into oblivion. Game forces you to use many different operators and know exactly what you need to deal with any given situations. I'm really enjoying challenges so far, even if I often spend few days just trying to beat map using practice function.
Also you definitely want to use sites from OP to check operators/enemies for additional/comprehensive info. I'm also using this one not linked there and this amazing resource for farming. You need to remember to change to US server though.
Also also send you invitation.
They really need to work on the game's translation though. In the support list it says "Unlocked when reception" which is not a complete sentence. It should say "Unlocked when reception room is level...".
There are some issues with translations indeed on top of some descriptions simply getting eaten, because there's not enough space for entire English translation of original text.
Anyway, for playing for the story the level barely matters in my opinion.
I can attest to that. I regularly beat content marked as E2 lvl 20 recommended with E1 lvl 40 or so.
BTW one thing it's a good idea to look up guides for is base facilities since that's something you actually can irredeemably screw up (you can't get rid of the things once built). I found Vynlis to be concise and informative but there are no doubt others.
While it's good idea to see them as base is quite complex at first, you actually can't irredeemably screw it up. While dormitories and facilites on the right are permanent, you can freely downgrade and fully demolish anything you built on left, so you're free to experiment and try different set ups without losing anything (except drones and waiting for them to refill when you're new player is a real pain).
Find one of those stages with deep holes.
Locate a spot where she can reach across one.
Cackle villainously as hapless Reunioners fall to their dooms.
I know it isn't as funny to talk about, but it's also important to actually explain how it works. All push/pull skill have strength (which game doesn't give you actual value for and just description, like small, medium etc.) which means what kind of units you can move and how far. So if you have specialist with strength 1 and enemy has weight 1, it's free real estate, but the heavier enemies are, the less you'll move them, until you can't move them at all. I really hate when games don't just give you all numbers and you need to use unofficial sites for all that stuff. Good rule of thumb is that bigger units are general much heavier and harder/impossible to move.
Fixed squad missions are tutorials so they'll be there every time the game introduces a new mechanic. Pretty sure there was some in chapter 6 too.
Yup. There was for cold and freeze mechanic.
Also it's nice that you have all of that money which is sort of expected after months of gameplay compared to my less than a week.
I agree that AK is way more money hungry than FGO. Leveling up in FGO was relatively cheap. What costed the most was lvling up skills. Even later ascensions didn't really cost that much. And sure you had to farm QP, but events were really generous with it. Also you can farm QP everyday. Just spending few battle records can cost your entire LMD in AK. Skills don't cast you, but promoting operators is much more costly. And of course you can't farm LMD everyday. Also while passive LMD from base is nice, it's still not enough, especially when you invest in a lot of operators. Also you need to build it first and have operators to run it at high efficiency. Then again I'll take AK's infinite space for EXP over huge pain of managing FGO's inventory any day. Unless you cheat and use present box as bonus inventory, you can't really even save EXP for more than 2-3 servants in there. Tbf, it did took me some time to stop worrying about QP entirely, so I probably need some more time to really tell. rn I'm very comfortable with my LMD and don't need to farm it, but that's mainly because i spend it very sparsely. I feel once I start trying to E2 my operators, I'll run out of it immediately.
Speaking of promoting, finally finished farming mats for Executor and E2 him. Dude totally deserved it. He carried me through 90% of the content. Now the irony of the fact he's my only operator increasing speed of snipers mastery training.
My progress so far on CC is that I figured how to beat permanent map normally and then picked all conditions that didn't seem to matter that much and beat it with the same set up, so I currently beat risk 6.

The symbol on the right means they need a clue that you have.
Ah! Yea, that makes sense! Thanks!

I guess you don't have access to Abigail then? With two Abigails (and Mash) in my party that boss fight was trivial in difficulty.
That's not the point. I'm doing solos for fun and I'm doing them with Umu, because she's my favorite servant and she's good at soloing. Being able to pull it off with her is the cool part. It's not about just winning. And honestly doing those solos and making videos out of them is pretty much one of last few things I even enjoy about playing FGO anymore. And yes, I do not have Abby.
Digging the Musashi solo gimmick so far.
Oh sweet summer child. It probably is too late, but just wait till you get to duels and start cursing game forcing you to use her xP
Does it even matter? It's just a rerun and I'll exchange them for QP anyway.
Only if you actually need arts/quick buff to be able to 3T reliably (which I needed).
PS I really like using your Archer Helena and Nevri's Ann Mary Archer especially while farming the gold nodes.
You're welcome!
About Castoria, SQs and costumes. I don't even have energy to rant about how much garbage and shit DW as company is and FGO as a mobile game...
Honestly rn I'm kinda burned with FGO, because I realize I pretty much have every servant I'd ever want to have and there's no reason for me to ever roll again and I'm kinda getting bored of stories and events as well. And that's ignoring how trash the game is and how much I hate gacha games, especially considering that once they stop updating content, you can't even really keep on playing it and once they decide to put servers down or decided to finish the game, all that time and money you spend on it just disappears into ether. Man I just hate capitalism so fucking much. We can thank it for allowing for this toxic gacha system to exist and become a norm.
Because i wanted to roll for summer 3 or rerun already and DW was starving me i rolled 1 10 roll on Bryn banner and dropped Valkyries there. Feeling tempted I made second 10 roll hoping for NP2 or Bryn and got... Sumanai ;v Made another 10 roll and got nothing so stopped there. Dropped 9 4 star CEs and only 1 was rate up. I love this game. At least with 3rd 10-roll i got first copy of origin bullet, so it wasn't totally wasted.
So I rolled for Skadi and as you probably saw, I got her with 21 tickets which was perfect for me, cos more SQ for summer 3 and rerun. I rolled for np3 Umu. Had overall great rolls, but of course no Umu. Meanwhile other people easily get NP3-4. I hate this game. I rolled on Fran banner, hoped for np3, got 3 copies and maxed her with like 25 tickets and 1 10 roll. Then rolled 6 10 rolls on Nito banner, got 1 copy.
I picked Extra banner on anniversary. I was considering Caster or Lancer. Caster mostly for merlin and Lancer cos pretty much anyone I'd drop would be np2 i'd like or a new servant. But ended up decided for Extra, because chance i'd get specifically merlin were low and getting a dupe/someone i dont care about would be annoying and with lancers i didn't really need to roll them ,especially with Ibalancer on the horizon. And sure there were a lot of extra i didn't want, but also some i'd want and especially getting Abby would put me ahead with rolls, cos i'd not need to roll for her and after Gilfest there is (was?) many banners i want(ed) to roll. So i got Jalter, which i'm happing with cos i do like her and she's still best ST avenger. Also i picked Extra cos that's best way to get Saliery and i wasn't mistaken. Got 3 copies of him, so pretty much what I hoped for. Also another copy of best doge.
Outside of that 1 time when I got NP3 Iskandar with around 300 quartz, my summer 3 rolls were the best ones I ever had since I started playing. Rolled 330 quartz on day one. Got 2 copies of Iba and got spooked by Yan (didn't got him yet) in my second 10 roll. All of them were silver-turn-gold cards. Got Jeanne in my third 10 roll and was spooked by Sumanai as well. Rolled more for Ushi, got spooked by Artemis, dropped another copy of Iba and only finally rolled Ushi next to last 10 roll. Rolled next day on Ushi solo banner for np2, but mostly to get 1 more copy of 5 star CE and 4 Star CE to be able to LB it (yes, I dropped like 40 CEs and only 4 were event ones, obviously). Managed to drop 5 star CE with my first 10 roll. Got np2 Ushi with second and got 4 star CE with last. So in the end got all I planned to get with just 410 SQ. NP2 Jeanne would be nice, ngl, but I went into banner not expecting to drop her, especially since she wasn't my highest priority and it usually take me over 700 quartz to drop even 1 copy of 5 star... Overall the best value I ever rolled for the amount of quartz spend.
I wanted to get just np1 Medb, cos I like her as a character, but I only had 90 quartz left. I like BB and would want her, but I planned to roll for her on new years anyway, cos i want CE from it, so getting her now wasn't important. And she's not that good anyway outside of 1 gimmick skill. I didn't really want or like MHXX, but i couldn't wait for Medb solo banner so i rolled anyway. First one was min roll and dropped MHXX with second 10 roll. Welp i do really like her animations in first ascension (she's mecha and what Babage should have been) and her NP is clear homage to TTGL, and i didn't have any foreign so if I wont get Abby or Hokusai she'll definitely come in handy. So waited to roll last 10 roll on Medb solo rate up. Of course didn't get her. Spammed single rolls from quartz i'd get over the course of event, but didn't get lucky. After event was over I realized i don't really need to roll ever so whatever.
...I'm just gonna leave this here: 044,226,425
I send you friend request.

There are daily maps but there is also the permanent map which is generally harder. There will only be rewards up to a certain difficulty. Past that, nothing.
I went to check CC and got stuck on cut-scene. So there's permanent map where you pick conditions and daily map just to farm?
Maybe Mephisto will have a redemption via sacrifice? I'd hate to see him get more broken tho. I'd take a redeemed Mephisto tho should it be done right.
I meant more, you said he is broken now, but he was already broken, so i joked you should say he become "brokener". Yea, redeeming him might be interesting if done right.
Also got Broca twice which I do appreciate. I actually wanted him during Drillelectric.
I got him during his banner and he was very useful since then.
Sorry, I don't get it.
When you go into friends list to visit them, when someone has clue exchange active you see the orange circle. But on some people I see this instead and I'm not sure what it's.

Roooooooooootfl. Since this banner has many new operators I did a 10 roll. I obviously don't care about op meta operators, cos I don't want to make game too easy, but since everyone was talking about it, it'd be neat to drop her. I got 6 star and of course it was Ceobe xD Your banner was last week xD As always my luck to rate up is terrible x3. Good thing I don't actually care who I drop. I didn't even drop Sesa or Utage. Except for Cardigan who was on P3, Spot and Dobermann P5 and Beehunter who was only at P1, everyone else was already maxed out. Still Ceobe seems like a nice caster (and as 6 star obviously she's strong).
Right, anyone know what does that mean?
last edited at Sep 10, 2020 2:24PM
Don't even worry about that. If you're only using S1 Texas is better unless you need more hp for some reason, S2 are completely different, and on S3 BurgerQueen becomes a ghetto guard so it's irrelevant. Texas and Siege actually compliment each other well rather than overlapping if you take a look at their kits(and if you have Zima even better).
Since I got Myrtle I'm using them together and they're great combo for all DP needs you'd ever... need, so I'm afraid I'd just replace Texas with Siege. While Texas will always be better at passively generating DP, ideally you also want her to initially block units and isn't entire point that Siege is insane with DP gain when she can attack? Also I don't have Zima just in case.
If you check our past discussions here you'll see that CC is a pick your difficulty type of deal, the harder the challenge the bigger the rewards.
Yea, I saw previous discussions. They change daily, right? I see so depending which challenge I pick, I get different rewards? Or amount of reward is just bigger?
Just know that the better your Saria, the easier it will be.
While I didn't lvl up Saria, I do have both Nearl and Gummy at E1 lvl 40 and lvl 7, so I think I shouldn't have too much problem in that regard.
You can go ahead and ask if you need help with something specific. We will probably post how we beat every map/risk lvl here.
Yea, I saw the discussion last time, so I'll most likely post my progression here too. Assuming I won't die again hopefully
I almost forgot to mention there's a new operator in the shop. She's good and can do some hilarious but effective stun meme strats. Here's what I mean: https://youtu.be/UapwBHAN_ww
You mean CN or NA?
I get you and it is quite nice to see that perspective but I do find Faust more sympathetic and more of the victim here.
Oh no. Of course I meant Faust as well. They both draw the short end of the stick. I focused on Mephisto, because before we talked how he's a complete psycho who deserves to die and has no redeeming qualities, so I was surprised to find that it wasn't that black and white.
I do wonder what they'll do with Mephisto now that he's broken.
Brokener?
Right I forgot to mention I surprisingly also enjoyed the sudden turn to horror and zombie-like action. Sure it wasn't anything new or groundbreaking, but it was well done and I guess that's all that sometimes matter. They set a proper mood and execution was good.
Did you also read the stories from this event? I think they were heartwarming in contrast to the pretty dark main story.
Ugh... I still didn't read Ancient Forge x3" I wanted to write here after I catch up, but I was procrastinating everything long enough.
It's all about choosing the difficulty appropriate for your team. But no sanity cost here (other than IRL sanity XD) so take your time and no need to rush in.
B-But bigger rewards!? Also aren't they change daily?

Wow I was dead and in meantime stopped playing for many reasons other than pacing, but NAtempo definitely didn't help and now I learn I made right call cos they close game anyway? Wow. I can't say I wasn't expecting it, as I said multiple times rushing made no sense, because what happens once they catch up as well as it just doesn't encourage average person to spend money, when they can't save and even whales can't afford to spend money on every banner every week. Also perfect example why I hate gacha games, it's only playable when there's new content added. And even if you just want to play it for main story, once they shut down the server, everything is gone. Spending money on gacha games is very risky. And honestly it's all the issues of toxic, gambling-like monetary system, which honestly should be illegal, especially for game that supposedly kids can play.
Sorry guys, I was pretty much dead...
So I have a lot of catching up to do...
Ancient forge. In the end I only did challenges up to AF-6. For AF-7 I'd need to lvl up all my operators to be able to pull it off. So after that I focused on progressing with main story to unlock episode 6, so when next event rolls up, I won't be clamjammed by it, like with last one. I'm happy I didn't try to rush it during event, cos I'd definitely not manage to do it and would only ruin the fun of figuring out how to beat the stages. But it also only made me more annoyed about AF-8 requiring episode 6 unlocked, because difficulty between episode 5 and 6 barely changed. I managed to beat everything until 6:6 I believe with my E1 lvl 40 or below (with 3 exceptions lvl of 50 Executor and Texas and E2 lvl 20 Jessica). Even most of my skills were still on lvl 4. Especially considering that AF-8 had the same difficulty as AF-7, it really feels like only reason they were 2 episodes apart, was because AF-8 used terrain and enemies from episode 6 and they didn't want to spoil them I guess? Not because AF-8 was considered that much harder. I did got a little stuck and didn't go back to trying to progress with story yet mostly, not because difficulty become so hard, but because the new gimmick of Yeti Squadron with freezing is much harder to deal with, so I need to spend more time on figuring out how to beat them.
On topic of main story, the Faust x Mephisto fight was a complete bs. The only reason it was hard, was because Faust is broken af and you need to set up your entire strategy before he spawns and you need to make sure you deploy strong defender that can tank his hits last, otherwise you're screwed. In fact those missions that forces you to deploy in specific order, so wrong operator won't get the aggro really annoys me, cos it limits your options and makes deploying operators flexibly impossible.
Story wise, while episode 5 did humanize Ch'en a bit, I'd be hard-press to say that it made me like her more. Her character didn't really change and she still acts the same way that made me dislike her in the first place. That being said I like Swire a lot and feel like they have really good chemistry. I'd ship Ch'en more with her than Hoshi.
I don't think I said it here, but after hearing opinions defending Reunion and understanding I should be looking at their actions from different perspective, I don't feel Skullshatter and Misha part was as bad as I initially thought. Sure, I still have some issues with it, but I can get behind it more now. That being said, I can't believe it, but game actually made me sympathize with Mephisto. The way he treats other Reunion members is of course atrocious, but it's also hard to entirely condemn him after learning how he got there in the first place. He's completely broken and a shell of a person he used to be. I don't want to say being a victim gives you a free pass on everything, but I at least think it's a bit more complicated than most people would like.
Blaze is amazing. Also Blaze lifting Amiya is double amazing. Blaze x Amiya is canon and nobody can tell me otherwise.
In the end I never got Nian, but with my last rolls on banner I dropped Silence which I was really happy about, because I wanted her based on what I heard about her. From standard pool 16, I got third copy of Mayer, because of course and bought Firewatch from shop. From standard pool 17, I got another Nearl I believe and since I already got Franka I didn't get another copy from shop. From Thousand Headed Arsenal I got Leizi. Was kinda hoping for Lappland, cos I heard so much how good she is, but meh.
Got my second senior operator tag and generic sniper, medic and vanguard. In all options I had chance for a dupe, but for sniper and vanguard the chance for dropping someone new was the lowest and with medics either Warfarin or Ptilopsis would be cool and second copy of Silence would be nice as well, but I was actually interested in Warfarin the most and I got her.
Finally got my second top operator tag. Only guarantee I could get was Saria or chance for either Shining or Nightingale or let game pick between all 3, so I picked Saria, but didn't really invest in her yet. Day before current banner I got another top operator and could either pick Sieg or again let game decide between Shining or Nightingale, so I of course picked Seiba. Didn't invest in her yet as well, mostly because I'm afraid if I do, I won't ever use Texas again.
Since standard pool 18 had almost all operators I already own (except for Provence and Skadi) and I already maxed all 3 stars and most of 4 stars, I decided to roll single rolls until I get guarantee on it. Got Provence with first ticket x3 Thanks to that I didn't need to buy her from the store. Since I saved quite a bit Originium and I didn't 10 roll current banner, I decided to roll rest of discounted rolls (I only rolled 1 10 roll on newbie banner for guarantee 6 star) and lol, I got Hoshi, the same 6 star I got rolling it for the first time xD
Also during running solo AoE tag once I randomly got Specter, so I have her as well and I really like her, she came very handy for SA-5.
Speaking of which, of course finished ladder in Stories of Afternoon and beat all challenges. Unlocking episode 6 paid off. I think I managed to beat SA-5 without really lvling up anyone, but challenge version gave me a lot of trouble. It finally forced me to lvl up all my operators evenly. I currently try to get everyone I use to lvl 55 and I also started investing in skills, trying to get them to lvl 7. I think I'd still manage to beat normal stages with my underlvl'ed operators, but I don't think i could pull it off for challenge quests, so I'm lvling them now, so I can challenge them without worry. Also I think I'll finally start E2 everyone, but for now I think I'll keep them on lvl 1 and mostly focus on mastering skills.
So... today we finally get the fabled Contingency Contract. Anything I should know or pay attention about it?
Yea. It was supposed to be funny, but I don't like implications of it.
The thing is. I run it myself doing it exactly the same way and it works fine now. I changed nothing, didn't upgrade anyone. I did like 10 runs in the background today and not single one failed. Just like before. Again I'd understand if in the runs I did before it would sometimes leak/fail. But it never did. And once the "bug" occurred, every single run failed. Timing or operators being too weak just don't explain it. I don't understand why I should set speed to x1, but I'm doing it on x2 without any issues. And the entire problem is that I watched the damn thing 10+ times and I still don't understand what the problem is. Only thing different when run was failing was that Jessica was dealing less damage for no reason.
Honestly I was pretty happy E2-ing her, but now I'm afraid to E2 anyone if it's going to ruin my autos for no fucking reason.
^ It's probably a bug, you should report that so they hopefully fix it in a future maintenance update.
Yea, that's the only explanation I can think of. How do I even report bug though?
While I'm happy they'll rerun old events so I can play them and get welfare operators, I am sad I will miss on event shops etc. I don't think players who already farmed it would mind being able to get more mats and if they don't want, they can just not farm them, but I guess they were trying to find some compromise between old and new players.
I'm confusion. So I tried doing it again myself. I was doing everything exactly the same way. I forgot to deploy Gravel to cover for wraths, but other than that Jessica was dealing damage just fine and it'd proceed just like it before I promoted her. So I left and instead of playing it again, this time without messing up, I decided to run auto again, to compare it again after freshly seeing it the way it's supposed to go and see if it fails again. It played exactly the same, but this time Jessica was dealing damage fine and cleared the mobs as intended...
I can't explain it other than there was some kind of bug with her damage or more likely skill, because of mastery, that reset once I played the mission manually once.
What confuses me the most was that once I managed to clear it, it was a very reliable clear that never once failed me in like 20 times I run it, so the fact now it always fail after increasing my DPS is just bizarre to me. But yea, it's a pain, but I was just considering running it myself again, though from what I watched it looks like if I'll do it exactly as I did it before, It'll simply fail again.

I know. It doesn't in this run. I have other auto run that can get messed up because of timing, so I'm aware of that. As I said there's no timing whatsoever in this. You fight possessed solder that regenerates so you need more damage. She wasn't killing them fast enough before. In fact, she seems to be killing them slower than before. I watched this fight like 6 times at this point, so I'm sure what I'm talking about. Mobs she used to kill before, now she doesn't which makes them pill more than before, so when white caster shows up, he moves pass first vanguard, so when I deploy my second DPS they're no longer in range, so they survive and together with other caster kill everyone.
