If I'm not mistaken, it'd be something like "Right now, I'm going to meet my mom." I don't know what word exactly Japanese use for visiting graves, so unless it's normal phrase, I'd say word "会う" does imply her wanting to see her mom face to face, but I feel like "今から" in context of the scene, implies her making a decision right now (or shortly before calling Reiichi), so it's more of declaration of intend, rather than saying "I'll be staying with mom". Also she's using the phrase "行ってくる", which specifically implies the intention of returning. I'd say she doesn't outright say, she's going to kill herself, but I still think it's fairly reasonable for Reiichi to come to that conclusion and panic. So make out of it what you will.

@Omega Deuse We played Masquerade, because we connected over our love for vampires and tabletop. I'd personally prefer it, but I'm open to suggestions. Also made the thread.

Well pretty much as tittle says. Who is interested and what should we play. I'm most in favor of Vampire: The Masquerade, because I like vampires and have character ready, but I'm flexible. Also I'd rather not be GM, because I didn't play many sessions as player and my experience at GM'ing is very limited.

We used to play Vampire Masquerade with full female cast (characters, not players) with people from Dynasty. Sadly it fallen apart. I'd be up to play it again or if people don't want to play it, we could alternatively go for Pathfinder or any other system. Either way, if anyone here is interested, I could make a thread and we can see what we can organize.

Idk. I didn't understand ending like that at all. It's not about them still hiding it and acting according to social expectations. To me it just shows that both of them grown as people. They're still Haruka's friends, why shouldn't she hang out with them? Mirei finally managed to make friends of her own, why shouldn't she hang out with them? They're dating, but they sill have their own lives. It's not like once you become a couple you have to be together 24/7. That would actually be acting according to social expectations, don't you think? That your partner is the most important thing and you should prioritize them over everything else, even friends. Ending nowhere show that they stick to their groups and barely interact and only in secret. And did you miss the moment when, when they passed each other, they lovingly looked back and touch their hands? And how Haruka's friend notices it and then she laughs about it together with Haruka? Chapter 0 shows that they lived in different words and never interacted with each other. Chapter 17 shows that while they both still have separate lives, now their worlds are connected and they can connect whenever they want. The fear of reaching to one another is gone. They're free to do it whenever they want. Idk, to me it was just kinda obvious and so I didn't spend too much time thinking about it, so it's kinda hard to explain properly, but to me the ending clearly shows a huge change in their lives and relationship for the better.

Yea. It's actually pretty fresh and unique take, you rarely see. Just not when used as out of blue cliffhanger to imply break up, only to get resolved next chapter anyway.

Overall, I really liked this series. I think it was best in the beginning, and there were a few moments I found genuinely surprising and unique. When Nika confesses to Kurumi that there's someone else she likes, I was shocked when Kurumi responded that she already knew, and that actually ended up strengthening their relationship. That really drew me into the story.

Yea. I really liked the first half of the story. It was surprisingly pretty unique romance and Nika being pretty gay friendly and open to even considering relationship with Kurumi was really nice. In general I liked how it handled her sexuality.

Ifrit on top lane is another way to cheese that map real easy, you basically just retreat her on final wave, kill the casters, then stall the red weeb until you can re-deploy. Kinda hard to make it work on higher risk and that's why Eyja is better.

Oh yea. That's actually great place to put her. I wish I thought about it last week. Not sure if I could do it this time, cos not sure I could do risk 8 without picking ranged operators ban.

Yea. It's so incredibly common to the point it's one of my most hated endings. After entire series of drama, misunderstandings, barely missing each other out, when they finally confess their feelings to each other, what is better way to add some more last minute drama than splitting them apart? Even when reason for other person going away is justified, it happens so freaking much, I'm simply sick of this.

Nah, it's fine. Even if you had M3, after talking to random, I got convinced to just do it normally. I wanted to cheat it and just do it the way Eckogen did, but he used Ejya, so I'd need to look for her on support and since I had no refreshes, resetting it through quitting maps felt like way too much pain, so I decided to try it myself. I actually managed to pull risk 8 just with my operators. Astesia to clear shield solders and defenders, Chen for physical dps against Militant and mixed damage from S2 (now that I think about it, with how much def they have, going full arts would probably be better), Cuora as main tank, Nearl and Gummy in the back as healers. Manticore in right left corner to slow Avengers and Hellagure to deal with casters spawning from bottom. Texas and Myrtle wombo-combo for all your DP needs and Melnatha as general purpose backup assassin. Once Hateful Avenger spawned and Hellagure killed caster on bottom, I retreated him and used Gravel, Melantha, Texas and Myrtle to stall HA as long as possible in Manticore's range and once they all inevitably died, I deployed Specter on the bottom to deal with next caster and tank and finish off HA. After that I removed her and dropped Hellagure on top caster's ass to dispose of them. In fact not only he easily killed them, he even dropped HA to half health (granted they ideally stopped on originium tile, but still). With S2 active I feel like they'd have chance to kill them and my Hellagure is only E1 lvl 40. After that it was just matter for waiting for HA to come over to me and murder their ass.

I totally forgot that in order to reach risk 8, I picked ban on ranged units and if you pick 75% slower DP gain you have to pick either Militant risk (which increases their weight by 2) or tile ban (which removes support tile) to reach risk 8. Yes, I don't have her, but seems like I'll just do it old fashioned way. Thanks for offer anyway.

Also, not sure if it's a bug or what, but when I used Manticore (E1) to slow down Avengers, her attacks didn't seem to slow them down at all, despite having S1 set.

I didn't last time, but with new risks I wanted to give it a shot (since last time I didn't even try), but you have a point that Angelina will be much better, so thanks. I'll try it and if it doesn't work, I'll change my strategy.

I tried with Shaw, but her skill is too weak to push Militant. I need FEater with S2, but only one I found in support was Rye's and she has set S1.

So I thought I know how clue exchange works, but turns out I don't. So I get 210 credits regardless how many people visit me? What's the point of 10 visit limit then? Does that mean there's a limit how much credits I can get from visiting other people during their clue exchange?

Meh. I agree Mai-hime was much better than I expected, so that ending felt really out of place with how sunshine and rainbows and power of friendship it was, but then it was kinda explained. iirc the reward for winning the ritual was being given power to recreate world as one desire, so it's not really that far-fetched that Mai would ask for everything to be undone and create happy future for herself. That being said, especially considering the fact that both love interest and younger brother, 2 character you'd normally think would have plot armor, actually died, ending does feel pretty cheap.
