That surprise reveal was a great, delicious piece of dramatic irony. The leader who so inspired her to be one, hated being one herself and both of them taking what Kiki said to her back then to heart is what led them to become partners and dance together.

And also it's a great callback to the very first chapter, where we saw that Kiki was already that tall in elementary school. So it may be a coincidence but it's not completely out of nowhere at all and that just makes it work so well~

There's something infinitely hilarious about a character desperately trying to cling onto plausible deniability in spite of all the overwhelming evidence to the contrary

Mahou Shoujo Akogarete is a HUGE Success !! very good animation and they didn't hold back! you can see A LOT but only if you make sure to get the uncensored version, like WEB (ADN) (tsundere raws)

There are other versions with censorships and also with muted audio

To clarify, all currently streaming versions have at least edited audio.

There are three versions:
TV Broadcast ver. with censored visuals & audio,
Akogare ver. with partially censored visuals & audio for AT-X and Docomo (this is the one HIDIVE simulstreams) and
Chou Akogare ver. with uncensored visuals & audio, which is exclusive to the DB/DVD release.

(No idea what "partially censored" actually concretely means but that's what they said~)
