Underrated comment. Being a fan of a genre that does not deliver more times than it does, its just simply not good for a normal person's mental state. There's only so much high profile cop-outs and bait & switches that you can take before you're optimism just crumbles down in on itself and you just can't help yourself from being overly paranoid at any ambiguity.

On the subject of this manga though, personally I like that it's tagged as "Subtext". I went in hoping to just enjoy a simple story about girlfriendship, so I was surprised at how romantic their interactions are. However as long that "Subtext" tag remains, I know not to put too much hope in any definitive relationship changes and just enjoy the story for what it is.

I just realized how refreshing and unique this manga is concept-wise.

Seriously, how the hell have I never read a series where the protagonists are already a couple, and each chapter is all about their day-to-day shenanigans, and completely angst free at that? This is like finding a diamond amongst the sand but you don't realize it until its poked your side a couple of times whilst inside your pocket.

Does this have a tank that I can buy to show support?

I'm not sure I'm happy to hear it's getting an anime adaptation. The "Lolicon" tag alone could be enough for them to change the story a considerable amount. And this story has that and "Yuri" tag. Getting flashbacks of Kanamemo's adaptation right about now.

This was such a great series. We need more shows where the MCs are just casually lesbians without it being the main focus of the plot.

Het has cuntblocked and won against yuri since the 1980's. One "selfish" femMC winning againts het isn't exactly a big deal. Let yuri series' be yuri series'. If you don't like it then tough luck I guess. Move on to more wholesome yuri stories then. If anything this series should be applauded because it goads you into thinking "Is it worth it for the yuri".

As for me I'm a pure yuri fan so I want yuri to win against het everytime all the time. No amount of "good guy" antics will ever make me root for the maleMC. Het has enough stories in media as it is.

Damn I stumbled upon this manhua purely by accident today and I got so engrossed in it I finished it in one sitting. And it seems like there's more to this but no eng trans? Thats a fucking atrocity. I would gladly pay whoever did the TL this far, because for a series as good as this they deserve it.

I wish I knew the endgame of this series already. Don't get me wrong., it's fun and entertaining, but due to the nature of their interactions (the kiss part duh) it's hard to just drop my "I hope this goes full yuri" googles and enjoy it just for the antics, like I did with stuff like YuruYuri and Gochuumon ,where yuri is definitely not the end game and I'm still reading because I enjoy their jokes and gags. I genuinely want the author to be serious for a bit and let the 2 mains hook up.

Sidenote; I bought this series' 1st volume like 2(?) years ago but decided to stop because it seemed like it's going nowhere. And that is sad. I wanted to support more yuri works.

Perfect ending to this story. So what if it doesn't end with a kiss. They were romantic enough to make up for it. And it helps to portray Mimika's character as a better version of what she started out as.

Ikr. Usually things like on page 7 indicates that the character repeating the line won't be there the following year. I don't want it to happen but drama logic dictates that's what probably will happen.

^ Fate Zero's ending serves two purposes; one to bookend and encapsulate the pessimistic/nihilistic themes of the show, and to set up events that would lead into FSN. That's why its not conventional as a regular ending should be.

On the subject of which Fate anime to start off with, just start with the original 2006 FSN. People say it isnt good because it tries to mash all the VN routes into a 24 episode anime, but for those who don't know anything about the visual novel, the anime does a pretty good job immersing you into Type-Moon's world and rules for when/if you decide to go into the other series' later.

I applaud the bait because lets be honest, four asterisk and people immediately thought "fuck", me included. When "kiss" is way more fluffier and appropriate, based on their relationship in the anime.
