Not gonna lie, my first thought after reading that she went to sleep after sniffing Melissa's hat was "Well, better her hat then some other piece of clothing". Even I was a little abashed at how pervy that thought was, then I remembered that they are 'married', so it's all good. Kinda. Now we just have to wait for the next chapter for Melissa's secret to be exposed, I'm half betting on a confession of affection, and half on a confession that she stuffs her bra (or something equally silly).

I'm sorry to see this end. I don't see all that many story driven manga that fit my tastes (not that there aren't any at all, just I haven't found them). I also didn't really care about the art (or at least the character designs), just the story development. This was really good, and if it had to end, at least it got a good ending and not just 'AXED'.

Goddamn, I am bad with sudden endings. :-/ Even though I already knew this was only a partial ending and the story would continue, it felt bad, man...

Pretty weird way to end the serialization by introducing a new character lol. Either way, I'm glad it's not the last that we'll be seeing of these two.

I have a nagging suspicion that it was axed by the publisher, like 90% of other quality yuri mangas that dare flirt with the action genre. Tatsubon's decision to keep the rights to the series and to draw it independently was a galaxy brain move.

It wouldn't be the first time a series died because the magazine/publisher/whatever went under and killed everything with it. I mean you remember 'Torako, Anmari Kowashicha Dame da yo' right?

I was just thinking about how much I missed the comment section from Batoto (observes a moment of respectful silence), then I read page 5 of this comment thread, specifically about lesbian ninja maids, and now I'm good again.

I'm a little disappointed Wanko wasn't interested in the Blues Brothers, but then again she's young and from a different culture. Props to the author for drawing that panel so clearly even I could identify the movie.

As much as I disliked Theo's character up to this chapter, I kind of warmed up to him. It's not everyday I get to read a manga where a 2nd tier character hands out a good old-fashioned classic Texas style ass-kicking (including the broken wine bottle) to stop an attempted rape. I can forgive a large amount assholeishness for such a reason.

And we got baited again.

We've been tricked, hornswoggled, and quite possibly bamboozled. But it was worth it, and I'll fall for the next one too.

Sad to come to this point, but it was bound to happen anyway, and at least it was on a good note. Weird thing though, a couple of pages in I started listening to a Youtube video (『 U l t i m a t e K a r s 』- "Pillar Man Theme (Awaken)" the 1 hr replay) and the vocals started just when Ise asked Shima to stay the night together and it fit. Perfectly. Every time there was a plot twist or change of story tone, the music fit. Perfectly.

Aw what an adorable chapter. Do feel bad for the lady that she is so lonely she had to make her own girlfriend.
