This is actually canon. The special chapter (61), available on MDex, is a flashback that shows the story Nijika mentioned in ep.8 about their mother’s death and Seika leaving her band to take care of Nijika and then founding Starry

I also think it's fairly safe to assume that rather than a full-on dream, Michi was projected into the real-life classroom, and actually talked to Aizawa.

EXTREMELY intrigued by this theory. I am supportive of this (also noting the fact that it was dark outside when they talked too)

Like other readers, I think there’re a Lot of mysteries yet to be solved so far. From the seemingly trivial question “who hid kasumi’s hair clip?” to the central theme “why is aizawa seemingly obssessive with michi?” to the grand finale “what is aizawa’s cause of death?”

I like the fact that the manga keeps it lighthearted despite all these questions.

1) Korotori Michi subconsciously hid Honda-san's hairpin. This was purposely done.
2) Honamin is obsessed with Michi because the latter is protecting her.
3) Honamin's death was faked by her family under extreme duress.
4) This manga has been lighthearted, but there is a major threat to Aizawa Honami's safety.

5) The class was just playing a prank with Aizawa all along. She just quit the idol group due to wanting to focus on her studies.

I ended up putting this on hold on Mangadex cause I wanted to wait for it to finish releasing to see how I felt about the whole thing, but I remember feeling kinda "meh" about what I read cause the Otaku guy kinda feels like a pointless character most of the time.

He kinda is. And maybe that’s the point. Black gal is clueless that white gal likes her back, white gal makes moves on her (imo) and black gal never gets it, Otaku just serves as a little push that white gal doesn’t really need — but maybe black gal does.

If you do a google search for "Evanescence logo" it's pretty much the only thing that comes up.

It's a stylized lower case e and the ring looks pretty close, though it's flipped left to right and the points in the middle should be straighter and less curved. It could be the logo drawn from rough memory, or it could just be a cool swirly design that happens to resemble it.

Incidentally the Chili Peppers concert they're talking about is a real thing. It's late February at the Tokyo Dome. Or possibly Osaka, depending on where these two live. (I wonder if Arai-sensei is going to do the build up to the concert in real time, giving us a month to watch them get hyped up.)
