I'm not sure how much relevant communities I could point you to, but what kind of stories are you interested in writing?

It's so rare to see two very high quality releases of the same story. I'm very happy that this was done (again!), and equally happy to have another excuse to come back to this one! Now if only I could pick a favourite version between the two...

Thanks for the correction. It's listed with both Official and doujinshi as that's the only meaningful way we have of noting derivative works. In the future these comments might look silly, as I expect the "doujinshi" category to be replaced with something else.

Took some time to look into it, and none of the signup evidence available to me suggests any specific bad behaviour. Dynasty's forum is outdated, and I sympathise with the issues folks have with it. I have no general problem with folks forming their own off-site communities if they so choose, and the Discord link posted is safe (at the time of my post).

It would be nice if we could move on from this and similar off-topic discussions. Thanks.

It's a good choice. If it's cold, I like ice cream with hot cocoa after. Otherwise, popcorn. It's yummy, easy to eat, and not too messy. Nicer to eat things while reading on a tablet than a PC tho

Depending on region, you can directly order many officially published manga as well, they even have a help page describing it (kinda), but keep in mind the shipping fee is going to be $50+ fairly often. Buying digital copies is the way to go generally, but keep in mind that digital copies have their own technicalities. In the case of Yuri Hime, digital copies sold are not counted towards continuation of serializations. This is quite different from saying that buying them is meaningless, which I would not do. Otherwise would echo that the best way to ensure financial support to an artist you like is to support them directly on Fanbox (or similar). Those sites will take a much smaller cut than manga publishers.

Anyway, probably good to not get carried away too much further.

The artist made note of their displeasure with the release in a now-deleted Tweet, and the scanlation team complied by removing the release from whatever platforms they were able to. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Talk about pressure! 25.6 years average marriage age for women over there (in 2017). There’s gotta be some leeway for educated women… surrogacy should be welcomed. Government policy to allow 3 kids/woman is bonkers. I think it would be funny to have kids to pay taxes… that’s my “Modest Proposal”.

This sort of social pressure to get married so soon does force a debate on whether women get educated over there or not. Those in Afghanistan can’t even have that debate. My stance is in line with Lee Quan Yew’s views: the alphas get paid, the betas don’t, and the gammas get snipped.
