Well it's word from the director. He's pretty much the Word of God when it comes to the anime. of course, anyone could can tell the WoG to go fuck itself and headcanon your own ending. But it doesn't change the fact that it's quite a strong argument.

I guess it depends on your definition of what yuri is as well. For some it's only yuri if its the a romantic relationship but some people include deep feelings of friendship as being yuri as well.

If yours is more the former, like I guess this MAL poster is then for sure the director coming up and saying it means to him that there's no yuri unless the director is a troll and it ends up not being the case.

I thought the whole satire thing was pretty obvious.

You never know, I've seen some incredible mental gymnastics from Japan when it comes to gay pairing. Many writers/directors/insert title here come up with the most ( to me and western fans ) incredibly dubious reasoning. Never underestimate the Nippon skinship of friendship.

Huh... Is it just me or the FF thread is now the largest thread on DS... ever? Not counting the Image Comments pseudo-thread of course. The FF thread surpassed the Stretch thread just yesterday.

Well it has a lot of good things going for it. Beside the fact that it is a great webtoon by itself there's a few key reasons why discussion is so common.

-It's a weekly, most yuri is monthly and bimonthly and translations etc for most work are not out as soon as the stuff gets out ( it's not online ). This constant flow of content that is always on time is great for discussing, just look at any popular weekly series. This is the most important factor outside of the work itself.

-People who work on giving us the English translation are active in the thread.

-Anon doing god's work and posting 4473746362 fanart and stuff. I'd be interested to know how much he/she is percentage wise in this thread.

-Non verbal communication! What does this has to do with anything? People interpret non verbal communication differently. Everyone thinks X stare or smile means something different. Things are not explicitly said or confirmed and with people seeing the same thing and coming to different conclusion is a big part of FF's discussion I would think.

This recent chapter is a fine example, 1 look from young Seol-a towards a would be friend/love interest and everyone is hot in the debate of what it means. We can only wait for the word of god to save us from endless speculation.

Last but not least, FF fans are the best. Give yourself a nice pat on the back folks.

Is it just me... or is some of the MAL people comments in Hibike Euphonium discussions about yuri really blood boiling sometimes? Don't know why some of the comments feel like it's somewhat insulting yuri fans.

On the internet if a person likes something you don't( and vice versa ) it's almost certain they feel compelled to tell you how shit your taste/opinion is.

I don't feel entitled to anything. If I don't get to read what comes next in WDTFS, well, I don't care much. It's not like it's the end of the world as we know it.

Usually, when I buy a manga, it's because some people have read it before me, reviewed it and I felt it would suit my tastes.

I just don't like the business model of baiting people into buying something without knowing what it is beforehand. I earn my money and I like to know the worth of what I'm spending it on.

Quite agree, with other media and stuff you can always watch/read a bunch of reviews from multiple sources. Because this is a yuri webtoon that not a lot of people know about, it would be hard to get reviews from people you have similar taste with.

Not a lot of people would buy this and know korean and tell me how good it is with a neutral perspective and so I abstain as well.

Am I doing it right?

So here's a summary of my interpretations of this week's chapter (40). Just my opinion; your mileage may vary.

1 - The girl who caught up to Seol-a was Jang Yu-ji. And so, the girl at the end having a drink with Seol-a was also Jang Yu-ji.
2 - Seol-a never had many female friends since childhood and so was RONERY as a wittle girl.
3 - The first girl who appeared in the flashback and who smiled at Seol-a was just a Random Girl. Her purpose was to show how girls weren't really comfortable around Seol-a. Seol-a's monologue line right before that: "Most girls didn't really like me." That girl was just giving her an awkward stare, then gave a fake smile (as people sometimes do with other strangers).
4 - Seol-a then went to an all-girls school and was nervous about it. But in comes Jang Yu-ji, who eventually becomes her first really close female friend.
5 - However, I still don't see anything in this week's chapter indicating that Seol-a had romantic feelings towards Yu-ji. If anything, the majority of the flashback was to establish that Seol-a never had female friends and she secretly longed for one/some. Then comes Jang Yu-ji, and Seol-a thinks that she finally found a female friend and was really happy... until, as we already know, Seol-a would later find out that Yu-ji was just using her and didn't really consider her a friend.

We'll see next week if these interpretations make any sense.

As for this chapter, lol blondie, why are you mentioning a woman's age like this. I thought everyone knew not to do this. I have a feeling our MC is a bit socially awkward, am I the only one to feel this? She kind of does her own thing and is sort of confused sometimes.

By the way, we weren't given any direct messages that Seol-a was straight either. She's never been emotionally attached to guys is what's been hinted so far. She did seem to have sex with her bfs, but how much did it deliver? I rather see hints that she hasn't ever experienced lust and greed over her partner's body. She just went for it because that's how it was supposed to work, not because she actually desired it. I'm quite curious if she experienced orgasms and how strong those were if she did. And I bet it's No-rae who'll make her really wet. I could expect that she might have experienced a feeling of excitement while seeing a girl, like when she saw No-rae with a lollipop. could be that a similar feeling she experienced in the past when she saw that classmate of hers and now she kinda recalls it, on the road to realising and accepting her sexuality.

I don't think we'll ever know how she viewed the past relationships and how she felt with her past boyfriends. My guess is that it wasn't very serious just like many college relationships. Guy(s) in your circle approach you and they ask you out, you know them and after brief consideration ( Seol a looks like a quick decision maker most of the time ) she accepts or not. The thing is that she probably didnt have real feelings before dating and thought maybe she would grow to enjoy X's company. This approach CAN flourish into something more, but most often than not it ends up in a failure. Now, was it because they weren't what she wanted because she's gay or because they weren't good enough is something we might never know. I'm sure yuri fans here will think the former because it's more "yuri" this way. But unless she talks to No-Rae about how she never felt like this then we can only speculate. And even then, it could be because of No-rae herself and not her gender.

To me it doesn't really matter, the real thing that matters is that they get their happily after without too much drama ( heh yeah right ).

Likely not, even taking into account penis curvature.
The whole weight of the body is not sitting on it as she's clearly supporting herself with both her arms and her legs in order to move, therefore the amount of pressure wouldn't really be something that could cause pain, especially given that Honoka has an erection which pretty much makes the penis resistant to a lot of external pressure (guys who struggle getting it down during the morning will know even if you punch it that shit ain't going down).
The key here is weight distribution. This should be fine for most people to do as a lot of the weight would be distributed across the person laying underneath as well as the surface you're doing it on and not just the genital area in specific.

Dick talk, how wonderful. To answer your question, it wouldn't to me. But Imagine for some men it might. Not at all penis are the same, I would think that for some it might be an issue depending on how the penis curves. Some men's penis curves upward, downward ( the poor fellas ) , and sideways and depending on how steep the curving is and how like fast a woman would just do what Maki did then it might lead to some discomfort.

The edge is real. Coupled with the fact that she uses a boat to travel around the world and it's called Tales of Berseria, I feel like this intentional trolling.

Impressed with Deus Ex walkthrought footage so far. HR was good, but it had A LOT of flaws and space to improve... Glad to see they are doing something about that.

Adam seems... overpowered, hope it's just due to the showcasing walkthrough purpose.

Always loved the art direction, and I welcome the tone-down of the black-gold color palette. Environments look fantastic with the new engine... Just hope it's not another case of Watch Dogs.

Probably for showcasing. He did say you had infinite ammo and stuff. My only concern of OPness is in open areas, that Icarus jump depending on how far you can jump can turn into another dishonored. Bypass a lot of things with ease.
