Nah. While mostly absent from the anime, Hayate's notoriously touchy in the sound stages with basically anyone that lets her. There's literally a bit where Hayate, as a 9 year-old child, laments not being able to grope Signum on account of the power imbalance ruining the vibes. It's fairly common to see it crop up in fan fics, though oddly rarer in manga, possibly due to space constraints.

Ironically, you'd usually have trouble noticing gradual change over time if you see something every day, so it's probably Fate's long absences that make her so confident. That, or she keeps pictures to peruse while Fate's gone and noticed the change while reminiscing through the older ones~
