I think when you have been reading yuri manga as long as I have (im sure many people as well)
Do you not get extremely picky about which ones you read? lol before I was good with anything yuri even if the the story or art was shit lol (I dont judge by the way art style/ or artist talent) but what I'm trying to say is that I guess some of the stories are so predictable that you almost start to wish for different settings and a bit different (different things)? I dont know maybe I'm weird ahahahaha like there could be the most crappiest looking oneshot/ manga but if the story seem good to me ill read but now if I see something like I dont know types like these I might read it but I dont feel the excitement or enjoyment (no dirty stuff lol I mean by reading lol) that I would if for example I read flag Time or something or like it used to be with girlfriends lol

Picky of course, but it depends:
- For original works, as long as the story is ok, it's ok. (Although one can only make this decision after reading it.)
- For fan works, if I have experienced the original anim/comic/game/etc. and liked it, then FF is ok. Otherwise, I'll search the original work for its summary and make my decision.

And I'm also wishing for extraordinary developments sometimes so you are not alone.

Now, I must say, the fact that there is now enough of it out there to warrant a Boob Sex tag kinda weirds me out. I honestly can't imagine that being very appealing. Ever. Each time I see it it's just as strange as the first.

My taste depends on what I'm reading.

If it's a H-manga ( straight or gay ) than the art is the most important thing really. If I want to use it as fap material it has to be pleasing to my eyes. That's pretty much the same as logic as live pornography.
If it's a non-h material be it shoujo, seinen, shounen and the list goes on... Then it's mainly for a good story UNLESS it has absolutely godtier level of art and is not the worst story ever made.
