This is one of my favorite one shots. I never knew I wanted to see yuri that deals with borders, national identity, and a subtle critique of the modern conception of the nation state, but this does it all and manages to be a pretty good romance too
Still a 10/10 every time I reread it, sad that the author seems to have retired/left the industry (even deleted their pixiv and twitter accounts). Oh well, at least they left behind this true gem of a story.
