Is chapter one (page 7) title- meant to say kiten not kaiten?

And it means 'to turn the heavens' right? literally - and is used to mean 'to reverse a desperate situation'

Not rise into the sky? Or is one meaning Japanese and one chinese?

When I first saw the title I thought it was about the suicide subs lol- but obviously its not related.
