Thanks for posting this. While the translation is free, the actual game costs money, so I have a question.

Does this story have some real depth to it, or is it mainly focused on sex? While they can be fun too, I already have a few games like that and don't need more. But if the story line has some depth to it, I might find it worthwhile buying it.

Of course, while some of the ones I have have yuri in them, none of them are focused on yuri, so I might buy it anyway.

Well The Sono Hanabira series' plot is pretty easy going slice of life stuff, mostly focused on the 2 girls' romance. IMO the sex scenes just adds some spice to it, there actually isn't much of it... Bit of character development here and there, sometimes bits of drama sprinkled around (not a drama-heavy series).

Well, I guess the romance is always present and the sex is an addon, sorta.

I have not been through this specific one but it's probably handled in a similar way as the others in the series.

Thanks, flips. I'll go ahead and buy it as soon as I have some time to spend on it.

Can someone help me? I am running Windows 7, and obviously I have the Japanese language and keyboard installed, but when I run the setup program for this game, everything is garbled. Not Japanese or anything else, so I can't tell what I'm doing. It looks to me like it's trying to display unicode as ASCII.

Can someone tell me what I need to do to make it display right?

I got win8, not sure if this can help... I honestly don't remember much of what I did.
(Also I just downloaded em ready-to-run with the english patches already installed... But I did have to do stuff to run Katahane, I suppose it is the same process)

I used AppLocale that helps run VNs properly:
C:\Windows\apppatch
(Or try using the start menu search bar for: apploc or applocale)

Run the file: AppLoc.exe

Program starts up just hit next and it will let you browse for an application, find the game's exe.

hit next and select the japanese languange (you said you have it installed, should be there). hit next.

Tick the box that creates a shortcut. Use the created shortcut to run the game.

Hope it helps...

Also, lil side note, this is the 2nd game with this couple. Their first game is the 7th "Sweet Enchanting Kisses". (iirc)

Thanks for the info, Unfortunately, that program doesn't seem to exist on Windows 7. However, I ran the setup program blind without selecting any options, got it to install something, found the right folder in program files (it's name is garbled also) and ran the English translation patch. I ended up with a copy of the game that displays fine in English.

So I guess it's no big deal, though it would sure be nice to know how to make the setup program display right for future reference. (Funny thing is, I have Japanese displaying all the time on my computer including folder names and window names, and this is the first time I remember having this problem on this computer.)

Oh well, at least the translation is running.

What about the New Generations? I haven’t play it yet, but one review said that there’s bad and mid-way ending, as well as much more complex relationships than the main series.
