For some reason I always misread the bit at the end as Eirin lying to herself that it was really the alcohol making Udonge forget. But she really wasn't, and all the "memory erasing medicine" is just sleeping pills after all.

I guess I always just assume that Eirin is the sort to hide her true motivations, so it's unexpected when she doesn't.
