Honoka is so cute with tears in her eyes as she keeps repeating the word frisbee as Nico apologizes and hugs her.

I don’t know how to express this well, but seeing especially these two girls out of the BakaTrio together,
it feels like their liveliness, eagerness, loudness, absent-mindedness (Honoka), forced behavior (Nico),
gets negated and turns into an odd seriousness that prevails Nozomi and Eli or Kotori and Umi pairings.
It happens in a latent, subtle way to the point that it makes me feel a beautiful melancholy...

Surprised by all the HonoNico lately. More is definitely welcome! The whole part about boiling honoka and eating her reminded me so much about my gf. This whole doujin was just so wholesome overall.

I don't mind it but I think Maki, Nozomi, Kotori and Hanayo are all able to handle Nico much better than Honoka, tbh. It feels like a lot of misunderstandings and hurt feelings and not bringing out Nico's good side. That said what I would love is a hononico where they talk about the pain Nico felt seeing Honoka succeed where she failed. I think that would be a good lead-in to a very serious relationship for them.
