Okay, that was cute. I don't normally go for non-smutty yuri, but that was well done.

I have to agree that the ending was too sweet and forced. Maybe not death, but Neru still should have had to pay some price, such as being forced to remain a bird for the rest of her life (the perfect bittersweet ending to this, actually).

This author really likes writing about how people dislike people who are a bit different
