So, live action show got that, but whats it about? School idol type deal? Also maybe I have a one track mind but, yuri?

On another note, having absolutely no idea who the characters are in no way takes away from the charm.

It's a show about high school gangsters (yankees), by AKB48. Acting and directing is shabby, but the writing is decent enough, imo - the characters and gags are pretty entertaining, and it mocks itself a healthy amount. Center and Nezumi are primarily from the second series.

This was the short story that got me interested in the pairing which then lead me to watch MG 1, and then 2... and then 3. And then I started listening to AKB, then watched all their concerts and... omg, before I knew it I was already knee deep into the AKB fandom.
