That's the best thing you can do. On most websites reading the comment section really is just a big waste of time and tends to get pretty annoying. I usually only do it after watching a new episode of one of my favorite shows. Sometimes you get a little information like that...

Well... I think the story was really good. It started interesting, then it took a little time and then it got really good.
It could have been a little darker, in my opinion, then I probably would have loved it! ^^
The story has a lot of potential. I just would have toned the comedy part down a little and stressed the darkness and brutality some more.
What I didn't like was the „shounen part“ of the story, meaning the fact that almost all of the female characters (including that girlish boy) felt attracted to Okarin in the course of this story. Totally unnecessary.
And I couldn't stand Feyris with her nyan nyan stuff or that stupid sound Mayuri makes all the time... (^_^“)
After hearing a lot of people say that this is the best anime of all time, I would have expected a little more. But it still is really good.
I just like stuff like Kara no Kyoukai, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and Psycho-Pass better.

@Anon99 Well, overhyping can destroy pretty much anything. Personally, I've liked the less serious part better.

True that, the show really takes off around the 9th episode.

Well, if you want to make the story a bit darker, remember that in the VN that the show is based on has the anime ending as the easiest to get minus the last two episodes. Made it much more depressing ;_;
