i dont think she reverted to a baby-like state. more like, she lost practically all control of her bodily functions, but is still fully conscious.

As to her mental state, baby-like doesn't seem accurate. Closer to a semi-conscious state, where she isn't thinking at all clearly, including managing bodily functions.
