Newp my job is quiet easy right now. Sitting and staring at monitors all day and read boring news when there is nothing to do. This is just my typical work day. I enjoy the half an hour every day walk through those downtown skyways with my co workers for sure.

Not sure if something got deleted. Maybe the spam got deleted?

Well I wanted to make homemade wonton this week but I think my hand is still too messed up to fold dumplings. Going southern instead and using the shrimp for shrimp and grits and some baked zucchini

It might just be to make sure she stays ahead on chapters so that she makes deadline each week if she can. There's no way someone can do those chapters in a week from start to finish without at least drafting some of it in advance.

Ive been eating too much Korean food lately and the white-washed part of me has been begging for something else. Good thing Im heading out soon haha.. I wouldnt mind stealing some of that shrimp + baked zucchini of yours before I go though.. <3

Great for you. I get the Asian flush. I live constantly in the edge: one more drink if I'm dizzy and happy can take me down literally.

Honestly for most people I believe its mainly for the social aspect. Like Nami once said (XD): drinking by yourself is never fun.
When there are others around you egging you on to take another shot or have you hyped up and happy, it just automatically becomes fun to drink.
I dont think Ive ever had a drink by myself, unless it was like a can of beer while working on my art or something.
Also could be related to cultural aspects. For instance in the Korean culture, if an older person or a sunbae pours you a drink, you drink. Otherwise its considered very rude.

isnt that more fun? XD Ive only ever gotten drunk twice. (Well to be fair I dont go out drinking very often. Very very fun stories btw XD) but aside from that its been no fun because by the time youre feeling just a bit tipsy, everyone is already done for.. and then you become the onee-san as you like to call it haha xD but I dont mind being the care taker either though. I once piggy backed my friend from the club all the way to the hotel cause all the guys were too wasted to do so lol. Albiet it was just a street away haha.

As for Team Gaji, I know it's a duo, but I wasn't sure in what respect they're a team. A mangaka with one or more assistants wouldn't write under a team name; they'd just use their own. Being a team must mean they both have large or high-impact roles. Regardless you're right that weekly updates are probably slightly easier with two of them. I think Ratana Satis does everything herself and Lily Love was updated every two weeks (though for sure she was always at least a couple chapters ahead).

My alcohol tolerance has gone down in my old age -_- Used to drink a lot more, but much less so now. My problem is just keeping track of my drinks. At low numbers I know what I'm consuming, but eventually I get drunk enough that I'm just taking shots of whatever and can't tell if I should be done or not.

As for Team Gaji, I know it's a duo, but I wasn't sure in what respect they're a team. A mangaka with one or more assistants wouldn't write under a team name; they'd just use their own. Being a team must mean they both have large or high-impact roles. Regardless you're right that weekly updates are probably slightly easier with two of them. I think Ratana Satis does everything herself and Lily Love was updated every two weeks (though for sure she was always at least a couple chapters ahead).

It's fun if I do the timing right. I don't drink that much often either, but enough to understand I have to keep track of the shots, or else I will get wasted when everybody is just getting started (the story how I learned that is one of my best drunk stories). And I could never piggy back anyone because I'm just a frail shortie (no fun).

Hmm.. drawing is physically taxing, and does take a lot of time .. but in order to execute a good story line authors must take a lot of time writing and planning as well. I also personally feel it would be easier being the artist because you are given something to work with.. whereas the author has to create everything from scratch.

Noo I dont. I mean, Ive done a few gallery shows downtown with my classmates and all, but aside from that I dont really have much interest as a 'fine artist'. (Its sad cause I actually graduated with a fine arts degree haha). But yeah Im more of a freelance-do-whatever-thehell-I-want. kinda person for now haha.

Cool. Being a freelancer is nice too. You get the freedom to do what you want and when you want. I don't know much about arts but i admire people with arts passion like yourself.

okay, maybe that's just me then... Mystery stories are really hard but I literally tell myself love stories to sleep. Also apparently I get better grades in the essays >.>

Also... that shocking plot twist in the description in lezhin will never stop bothering me... like at first I thought it was Sungji getting with Sumin but then I was like "no... that's so so shocking" then I was like "maybe it's Sumin's past with Seju..." maybe, maybe it's that one. Or maybe it's coming to us... and... no, it's not the threesome ending if it was TeamGaji wouldn't have said they were considering it 'cause it'd be a spoiler. So what is it?! I smell lots of drama in the next chapter.
