Just hope it doesn't end up like First Love Sisters, Last Uniform, or Hayate x Blade. Don't really see any of the problems with those happening to a Morinaga work though, so looking forward to it.

Don't know about Last Uniform, but didn't they get screwed over by a change in publisher for the other two? Doubtful that'll happen here.

I'm still annoyed about those. Damn I loved Hayate x Blade. I'll have to check out the scanlation of those someday.

Despire my annoyance at them frequently dropping stuff, Seven Seas do pretty great work, so I imagine they'll do Morinaga's original justice. Still a bit of a pain that I'll have to pay to read School Police, but it's a small price to pay for a increase in official yuri manga in the west.

I'd love to see them pick up some Morishima Akiko's stuff, like A Lapis-Lazuli Blue Dream.

Thinking about that, was Hanjuku Joshi ever translated? There's (of all things) a German version on Amazon.ca under the awful title "Highschool Girls", but I don't even think that's currently in print.

Edited to add: Apparently there's a French version of volume 2 on Amazon.com, under the original name. How odd.

They will be continuing it.

Probably never will be, given...the age of certain characters, and some of the actions displayed within it. Have to imagine that would be difficult to advertise as well.

I think Last Uniform got a "this isn't making enough money so we dropped it" excuse. Could be wrong, last time I checked on it was forever ago.
