I think that was meant to have taken place in a different timeline. Seeing as how Homura was shocked at her return. Remember that when Madoka became a Godess she was able to see what transpired in all of the timelines.

One of my first MadoHomu books I read. I remember how sad it was since I read it way back when, and it remains to this day, the first and only porn that has ever made me cry.

Homura should be aware that Madoka can see all that has happened in every timeline though because Madoka explicitly tells her this in the last episode.

I love this particular story and it's my favorite MadoHomu Doujin out there. Valentine's Day holds a particularly special meaning to me because when I found this back in 2012, I became enamoured by the yuri genre. This is the first and only hentai that has brought me to tears. The reason being is because;

This story was written before Rebellion, so being able to write Madoka's return so beautifully was brilliant. It's that now it won't have the same effect due to Rebellion. Nevertheless, still one of my favorites.

I agree with everyone’s points about this story! The art and story content always makes me feel very happy that these two characters are still together and loving . In a cold dark world such as ours, such beautiful works of love send their bright warm lights to illuminate the darkness of our world and into our hearts and minds. Tama II is a great artist and storyteller!
