Welp, in The Idolmaster for some reason they call Anastasia (my name, btw) Anya. Just why? Anya is Ann or Anna, Anastasia is Nastya :c It's confusing. Apparently they love everything that ends with -nya, like хуйня, for example.

I think that's how they tend to make their nicknames. In America a nickname for Sophia would be something like Sophi, in a place like Egypt it would be something like Safsaf or Saafii
