The cap is close enough and as for the hair, think it's important to keep in mind there's a difference in details put in a manga and an illustration. Personally, I think they look pretty much the same.

The manga has "simple" coloring, that doesn't take much time. Not many manga (or anime, for that matter) have complex coloring like illustrations. Putting that much more details takes time manga artists just don't have.
