Seeing Sakuya as a vampire sort of bothered me. To me, Sakuya is human, and her humanity is what makes her HER, if you understand what I mean. I think Sakuya is a strong enough character to remain human, seeing that becoming else isn't what should happen - unless it's something that isn't as chaotic as a vampire. Sakuya the vampire just doesn't sit well with me - or maybe it's just how it was portrayed in this.
Either way, I didn't enjoy this as much as usual - I love Sakuya but :/

I know how you feel. It somehow feels kind of... off I guess? There isn't that much of a doujin where Sakuya is portrayed as a vampire. I think this is the only one that I read where she is a vampire. Maybe what I'm concerned at is the appearance but yeah, for me it still feels off.

Oh, man, I love the sex scenes, I love RemiSaku and MeiSaku, and I wasn't completely rattled by vampire!Sakuya.

But I honestly don't like this doujin much. All of the love scenes feel... forced. It feels like there's very little actual love, and more like rape. It feels like Sakuya became a victim who took out her anger on Meiling.

I thought this was more about the circumstances of love (or "thrownness" of the lives of the people who met) instead of a lack of love. Remi loves Sakuya, Sakuya loves Remilia, Meiling loves Sakuya, although it's not clear to me if Sakuya loves Meiling. What they do is make compromises, even if they are bad ones or ones everybody can live with, but not without suffering.

2 first doujin is alright but this really go off the rail

This is a beautiful story where a mortal and immortal fall in love. Remi loves Sakuya and Sakuya loves Remilia. Beautiful story and artwork!
