That was cute and all, but nail polish remover will take off pretty much any marker ink. Rubbing alcohol works too. Probably normal ethanol as well, though I've never tried.

"Me, the only straight one in the Queentet!?"

KAHO IS OPENLY GAY FROM DAY ONE. SHE'S THE ONLY ONE OF THE CHARACTERS WHO IS!
It's a cute comic but this is just such an amazingly glaring oversight that it beggars belief.

Both Mai and Ajisai realize they are gay because of Renako, Renako herself is actually still firmly in denial about being a lesbian, and Satsuki doesn't come out until book eight!

Kaho has been openly in love with Mai since before the story even starts! Being shot down by Mai is part of her backstory!

Need more Doujinshi's of these two together!

@Gestalt

She straight up says in volume 1 that she likes men but Mai is the exception because Mai is rich and super pretty and rich and talented and rich. Her crush on Mai is surface level 'I would do it for money' from how she herself says it, whereas she likes hot guys.

Of course, everyone in the dang novels is gay af but...

That's weird because I read the novels - In the original japanese no less - and I don't remember that

I don't remember an explanation but I think I do recall Kaho in the later novel translations saying she's not into girls, despite the Mai thing earlier on.

The novel as a whole tends to be weird about sexuality at times. Part of it is due to Renako being in denial, and her obsession with being "normal" for sure, but I think it's also the author's bias (i.e. usual case of straight man author doesn't know what he's doing).

Uh, weird how?

The Arioto novels by the same author have lesbians in lesbian relationships and going to lesbian bars and having lesbian sex.

(not in that order)

If your talking about the author of this doujinshi/Fanart work then you might be 'possibly' 3-5% correct...Assuming your not fking wrong about your assumption/implications about their gender and author's bias lol. Author of this fan work got it right by studying/reading light novel or by accident lol~

If your talking about author of source material...Your going to have find solid evidence of their life/information for your implication, bias and assumptions XD

(Teren Mikami) Author's famous work personally (Their gender is not revealed or I can't find the information easily):
There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless... (WataNare)
A Yuri Story About a Girl Who Insists Two Girls Can't Be Together, But Is Thoroughly Seduced in 100 Days
Link! Like! Love Live!

Author co-worker/co-writer (They are either the story writer or artist/// Most people can be both by collabate with other artisit or author to have a easier time creating new stories):
If You Can See Love (2020–2022, art by Yūki Nanaji)
Black Black Lotus (2023–2024, with Ogishiro)
Girls x Vampire (2025–present, with Minori Chigusa) -- Minori Chigusa (The author of semi-convenient friends)
A Yuri Story About a Girl Who Insists Two Girls Can't Be Together... (The artist is Kayako)

I will just say, Kaho is likely just bisexual (Leaning towards men but possibly 5-15% leaning towards women depending on the women, type of women involved and just doesn't know it.) That is just my thoughts on the matter of Kaho's character.

Author are just humans in the end, they cannot fully get every information, details about sexually to be accurate/correct at times to be accurate or can relate accurately to the hypothetically story situation...Even the readers of a media/work are very flawed humans in the end as well (Their criticism often flawed and wrong as well).

MC (Renako is very leaning toward women but is in somewhat in denial or doesn't think she is at the beginning...Lol XD, barely 1-2 % learning toward men at most. This is likely due to Renako not being very informed about/on information about LGBT stuff and etc, just having a simple basic grasp of that information [She unconsciously fantasize Mai as her perfect BF in her dreams about being successfully popular instead of a muscular handsome BF lol ]).
