Time for an update!
So there have been a lot of good VNs coming out in the last few months and I can't even keep up with them all. I've added about a dozen items to the recommendation list. Here are some highlights:

The Demon Queen's Dire Dilemma

A story about a demon queen conquering a human kingdom with might, but being way too soft-hearted to actually act evil. She takes the princess of the kingdom as her personal maid in a show of dominance, but ends up completely dominated by said maid.
It's an incredibly funny and cute story about romance between demon and human in a way that you may not have seen before.

Vampdoll - The Novel Game

I've brought this VN up before, so I won't say much more than that it's out in Japanese now and that it's very good. The art is great and the romance is steamy to say the least.
The English version is sadly in Steam approval hell... why are you like this Steam? You allow literal loli porn, but even slightly suggestive yuri is too much? Pathetic.

Winter Heat

How fitting that we are now inbetween winter and summer so we can experience both sides of the coin.
It's a cute long-distance relationship love story that brings in lots of cultural differences and actually plays with them in a clever way. A Japanese office lady and Latino-American freelancer is a very unusual combination. The art is cutesy and the VN will certainly give you a refreshingly warm feeling by the end.

Out of the Ocean

If ebi-hime makes a yuri VN I read it. It's one of my rules. Have you played all ebi-hime yuri VNs yet?
Anyway, Out of the Ocean is a Mermaid focused VN, which there is an uncanny amount being released lately.... This one is fully yuri though, which makes it superior. On top of that it plays with polyamory themes, which are still somewhat rare in the yuri VN scene. This VN really is... like a fish out of water.... badum-tss

There's a big Yuri VN bundle on Humble Bundle right now: Yuri in Luck (the subtitle shan't be mentioned for it is decreed cringe).

Includes both many eastern titles like Fatal Twelve, SeaBed and Kindred Spirits on the Roof as well as western titles like Highway Blossoms and Blackberry Honey.

Ngl though, Humble Bundle's main draw for me is that they take a much smaller cut than Valve, parts of the proceeds go to charity, and you can snag keys for games Steam either won't sell or that don't have regional pricing in your location.

Just finished SeaBed. It's awesome. Amazing.

Though it's definitely not for everyone. SeaBed is a veeery sloooow iyashikei. The whole story is consists of slice of life moments. I've lost count how many times it described the sky and the weather or how the sunlight passes through the window. Despite that, it requires you to pay close attention, because it leaves the mystery solving to you. It will drop subtle hints and then bigger hints but it won't explicitly tell you things.

The lengthy prologue did get me bored a few times. Maybe that's also because this is only the third visual novel I've read. But after taking a liking to the vn I sure did took my time enjoying it. Most say it's a 20 hour read but I spent 43 hahaha. Every time it mentioned the name of a flower or a plant or a bird I looked up a picture of it, cause what's the point of reading the word if I don't know what it looks like. I also just sat and listened to the music a handful of times. The VN uses some really nice royalty free music.
