^ I have not watched it, so I don't know if that's from the anime. It could be translators trolling as well so.
Also you can guess why I don't really trust KyoAni about anything involving yuri. Not that I've watched the other anime where they teased yuri in the series and then in the movie they paired one of them with a guy. I'm skeptical because one of the two is in love with the teacher if I recall and in the books one of them starts dating a guy. If the staff/people on it explicitly state that they're diverging from the book, it's just teasing. Cause they can really quickly turn it around.
Because I've read too much stuff to which the authors promise that they wouldn't do stuff and then they of course do it in such a way that it's even worse. So yeah. Also KyoAni have pulled such things before and the original book is het. So you can see my 'negativity' :P
Plus if that 'confession' is not reciprocated and the other girl is just "okay, thanks" it's not really counted as well.
^the confession of love thing really did happen in the anime and both girl said it(though not on the same episode) not really a trolling of the translator. the scene is so sweet that you could really see the yuri in it and the way they act to each other was beyond "friendship" through out the anime episodes but they never officially dated on the anime. so yeah cries in the corner while cursing KyoAni
It's not yuri, don't fool yourself guys, there's a thread about this, in the last page they say someone asked the director and Kumiko voice actress about it, basically, it's just a phase, het wins, yuri is dead.
There's two things you can never forget about KyoAni:
They always do faithful adaptations, all that subtext in Hibike Euphorium? The light novel is the same, any other anime they made or make if they have subtext the source material will have it too.
KyoAni never did any homosexual couple, only subtext, KyoAni = No Homo.
Case closed? Hell no. The last two episodes diverted from the light novels so dramatically it's not even funny. A couple months have passed, the storm has died down, and in the clearing we see a majority of the fans of the series who are not bigoted, selfish, and short-sighted shipping Shuumiko in the novels and KumiRei in the anime. Shoot, based on what I have heard and the excerpts I have read I'd much agree in that regard.
Didn't KyoAni did that Chuunbiyou thing? Dokamori or what's her name is humm kinda subtexty with eh the one who wrote that complicated book.
Now now Thiauinho is just stating that the show is not like, actual yuri, cos it isn't ,it is actually quite misleading, I admit I had high hopes..then they sunk...so so deep in ,as deep as KanColle dead ships go D:
ColonalCat we'll see if it gets a sequel and they disregard the 'diversion' what you'll say then :] This is just to please the fans because of the Tamako movie.
