You guys keep mentioning you need translators, but the stuff on the wiki looks like series you guys haven't started. Are you missing a translator for a specific project? Looking to start a new project? Both?

Both and neither.
The translator can decide to help with current projects or provide translations for projects that have not been started.
We'll ask if the translator will help with projects in need of a translator, but we won't force you (unless you're a robot :] ).
However, if it's a new project, we need to make sure we have an editor for it, unless the translator would want to just translate a bunch of chapters for us irregardless of whether or not it would be edited speedily enough (ie. months to years)... which has never happened.

So yeah, if the translator only wants to do one or two series that's currently being translated, we'll see if the other translators are fine with it. If it's a new project, we'll see if we can squeeze it in. The biggest obstacle a new translator will meet is whether there are available editors and whether another translator wants to do it/continue doing it.

I found something I would totally translate. But I can't seem to find a raw for it anywhere. It's a manga adaptation of a novel called Gakuen Kino (学園キノ) which is a spin off of Kino no Tabi According to that page there's at least 4 chapters out (or 3 with this one on the way). I'll keep looking on Share, feel free to look too!

Volume 1 of Gakuen Kino is out. I can say this with certainty because I bought it today. It's been out for about a month now, so there might be some scans on share or something. I really hope there are because I don't want to deal with scanning this myself. I can't check for myself at the moment as I'm away from home for a few more days, but when I get back I can start translating.

Also, I haven't read most of the series you guys are doing, but if you give me a list of what current projects really need translators I'll see if any of them catch my interest. And of course I'll submit a test for you guys to check.

They probably come to mind because if someone else doesn't do them, I will have to. They're not bad or anything, I just have other stuff I'd rather work on.

Good sir I suggest you to take Sasameki Koto too, definitly.
You can't imagine the urge/need and the amount of people waiting for it to get translate.
If you browse your net a bit on forums/blogs about yuri shoujo-ai, chat box are all foll of "when is the next SK?" same as forums.
Just look at Dynasty's one, it's the one with the most read/views etc among the projects or manga section.
I'm not from DynastyScan so I can't tell you that you must translate or not SK, but damn if you hadnt ridden them yet(which I may assume cos you would translated them otherwise since SK is the top stuff) do it.
Plus you can't imagine the amount of people waiting for the english scanlation in order to translate it in french, spanish, russian etc... unfortunatly we dont all speak english too and i know from my own experience frenchies ones sux(im french), none of them have a japanese/french one.

I don't expect to be translating anything super fast, so don't get your hopes up. Though I'm willing to help with the Sasameki Koto translation however I can if that's what's needed.

Doesn't look like there's any Gakuen Kino raws out yet. If you guys have something you want me to translate just send me the raws (as well as the raws for previous chapters so I can get caught up). If I get sick of it I'll say so. As for speed, 1 chapter in 2 weeks should be doable.
