Always bums me out so hard. What's with this author and writing the occasional story with intense angst? SUCH intense angst. The style is such that I engage with the protagonist and come to feel for them. I'm on their team. And when our team loses I am so crushed.

I have to admit, I am a sucker for happy endings. This bittersweet feeling is kind of sobering sometimes, but when I have to cry myself to sleep, it's no fun. :P
